My husband and I stayed at the Lancaster Lidge for 2 weeks in December. Many other hotels could learn from this lodge. We cannot praise it enough and the staff were just so helpful nice informative and kind. From now on.it will be the only place we will stay when in Cork. Location is super and only ten minutes walk to Patrick Street. Not only is shopping close by but also a miriad of cafes bars and restaurants. Parking in free and on site. We were in the back of the lodge and while there was construction going on outside as it was during the daytime it didnt actually bother us. The noise was never that loud. The room.we were in was so clean and modern and the house keeping staff every day left us clean towels and toiletries. It was so warm we ended up turning off the heat in our room! We had breakfast there most of the days and it was just so delicious and lots of choices. There was a continental and cooked breakfast which was top class and the staff serving it were all equally nice. We happened to be there when the city pretty much closed down due to an incoming storm and were told.to take anything we wanted from breakfast so we wouldnt starve as most places shut down that day. There was a lovely modern funky lounge where one could read the daily papers free of charge or take them to your room. Well done to all concerned it was a wonderful stay and we will be back. A big shout out to Amanda who performed lots of functions and was.so nice and informative too. Thank you all most sincerely.

Had a lovely post Covid weekend in Cork. Stayed at Lancaster Lodge. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was as good as I remembered. The location is hard to beat. We parked the car on Friday and didn't move it for the weekend as everything is within walking distance. Would definitely recommend Lancaster Lodge.

Never visit this hotel. Very unclean rooms. We paid 140 euro per night. At 8 o clock in the morning they start working in the room next ours. They are also working in the Street. Munch noise… when we complained about it the manager just laughed at us. She only gave the cost of the breakfast back. This hotel has four stars but they give they themselves. It is not given by An extern qualified company. Do not boon this hotel !!

Dear Guest, We take all complaints seriously and are always happy to engage with customers regarding an issue that may arise during their stay. We apologies for the inconvenience caused by noise as a result of the new carpet being laid in a room close to yours. When you brought this to the attention of our duty manager it was dealt with and you were given a reasonable discount but you demanded a full refund and became very irate when this wasn’t forthcoming. You then advised us of your intention of posting negative reviews on as many sites as possible which is your prerogative. Please note we deal with any guest complaints in a reasonable and proportionate fashion and any threat of negative reviews will not alter this process. Regards, Lancaster Lodge, Management.

Nice staff. Rooms are getting outdated and the bathrooms are in need of replacement and brightening. The four stars are a bit misleading - they may reflect some of the facilities but not the status of the hotel. We have paid less to stay in much better hotels.
