The first thing when we got there, we were met with coffee and a snack. Then while we were enjoying that we were given a basic understanding of the city and a map. Afterwards, we were taken to our room and it was nice, clean, and modern. We had a lovely stay, the facility was nice, the people were friendly...

First off - I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother who "doesn't get that foocking interwurb ting". Now, the Garnish House was pretty easy to find, and just a 5-10 minute walk or so from the main centre of Cork City. Even though I personally didn't stay here, I was with my mum when she arrived. You pull...

We recently travelled to Cork to see some family and stayed at Garnish House for 2 nights. I cannot fault the service provided to us from the minute we arrived. The staff were all extremely hospitable and very welcoming, serving us a wonderful, much welcomed afternoon tea after a long journey over from the SW of England. The room was...

Stayed in this B&B last year and we can't wait to go back. A wonderful location, central to Cork with a lovely welcome and *amazing* food. The only thing I'd change is how much I eat the night before - you need a lot of room for breakfast so plan to wake up hungry! Stay here - you won't regret...

And we can't wait to have you back! We probably should recommend to guests that a light dinner the night before and an early start is the best way to make the most of our legendary breakfast...! Looking forward to welcoming you back to Garnish, Johanna Lucey Owner, Garnish House

The Garnish House is not only a very centrally located accommodation in Cork, it is also clean, comfortable and is a home away from home serving a wonderfully prepared, delectable to-die-for Irish breakfast. I first stayed here about 10 years ago on the recommendation of a friend and have been back on several occasions over the years, most recently January 2013. There is always a warm welcome with tea and scones - once a friend came early to meet me and was also given tea while he waited. My bed was very comfortable...

Though the days are wet, it helps that the hotel make us feel at home. The staff are helpful and approachable. Room is cleaned everyday. It is one of the best hotel we stay for our trip. It is a 20minutes walk to the City Centre, where the shopping and actiivities are.
