Stayed here on Saturday November 8th. 4 of us were in Cork for a stag so we wouldn't be spending much time in the room anyway. Not that we wanted to spend as little time as possible there or anything. The place was clean, inexpensive and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Don't be deceived by the price 15 euros because literally everything is an up charge, luggage room, breakfast, towel... It was advertised that the pub gave a discount for hostelers staying at Sheila's, this is not true. On another note, the staff were extremely polite and helpful.

Friendly and clean and in a fantastic location for everything. The hotel key also gives you discounts almost everywhere in town. The rooms were fine - small but functional. Good mattresses and real duvets. The bathroom in our room was spacious and clean as well. Continental breakfast was available but we didn't use it. One of the better hostels I...

Stayed there 3 nights. The staff was just ok, the rooms are tiny - jail tiny !!! Everything coasts extra money, even leaving our bags an hour after checkout required money. Washroom: only 2 washrooms are used by 3 floors.

we stayed at sheilas hostel for 4 nights and found the experience to be exactly as we thought, nothing fancy, just someplace to sleep and use as a base camp. The hostel was clean, tidy and there was very little noise after 11-30. The staff at reception were great as well.Hope this helps others

We had the room number 113 - if you go to this hostel, be sure to avoid that room! No window, minuscule, in the middle of the building (noisy), ... For the rest the hostel was not great, nor good - it was just poor. The breakfast is NOT worth it and totally overpriced for what you get. Look a...

Our family stayed here on Aug 16 and did not get any sleep. Other hostelers were loud at 1230 a.m. so I complained to staff. 20 min later, it was still loud and had to complain again. It was ok only until 3:00 a.m. when partygoers were singing, banging on doors, and talking very loudly with no regard for people...

The checkin lady was helpful and provided a great map. The rooms were quite cramped and hot but that's not uncommon in hostels. There's wifi in all rooms which is nice. However 2 girls were put in our room at 2:30 am and one was sick--not the best situation to wake up to in the middle of the night. I...

Everything was basic, clean bed for the night, safe property, room was fine, keycards didn't work first time so had to run back down 3 floors to get new ones, the bathrooms were fine, again basic, but done the job. For 25€ each for 6 of us, we got 3 twin private rooms which was ok considering I never use...
