I love the service at the Marlborough. We had a great night and when they heard it was our anniversary there was a bottle of fizz and some strawberries with a handwritten card left in our room. It was such a nice touch. Enjoyed the food also.

My wife and I stayed here on Saturday September 5th. Everything was just as we hoped it would be. From the very friendly receptionist to the lovely champagne, fruit and flowers awaiting us in our bedroom. We enjoyed the goodies while relaxing on our balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens. Dinner was top class, Bellini's is a lovely setting. Staff were...

Stayed overnight at Maryborough, very friendly and efficient check in. Staff in restaurant(breakfast only) were very helpful and friendly. I thought there could have been more variety of fruit/pastries for breakfast but the pancakes i ordered were delicious. Room was gorgeous, very comfortable bed and really luxurious shower!!!

We stayed here for 3 nights in September. Hotel has well maintained grounds, peaceful location, handy for bus rides into Cork city. Rooms a bit tired, hair dryer firmly fixed to drawer in bedroom, not in bathroom. Water and small bottles of wine renewed daily, cookies provided one night but not thereafter, breakfast good, front desk staff helpful. steps at...

I spent one night at the Marlborough Hotel last Wednesday after working in Cork. The hotel is very nice mix of old historical building and modern rooms. There is a large relaxing public space. The staff is also very pleasant and professional. I did not have time to use the spa / pool facilities and restaurant.

This was good value for the family (2 adults & 2 children) as part of an offer. Great facilities but the interior has seen better days in some places, especially in the pool area. To keep the 4 stars, some refurbishment is required. Dinner in the evening was excellent but the breakfast could be improved.
