Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful hotel, with excellent service, food was delicious and we were treated like royalty. We went for couples two night spa break and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing couples retreat.

I took my daughter here for afternoon tea and it was fabulous. The food was delicious and the service excellent. There was far more than we could finish in one sitting but the waiter brought us a box to bring the rest of it home. We sat looking over the beautiful gardens. I would highly recommend the Maryborough Hotel.

I can't say enough about my stay at The Maryborough Hotel. I would have loved to have stayed a lot longer! The suite was just stunning and staff are fantastic especially at reception and Shane who very kindly arranged an upgrade. I recommend everyone experience a stay in one of the suites at least once! Thank you for an amazing stay

We were down with family last weekend. Beautiful hotel and the food was great. We had a little issue over the accommodation for my 94 year old mother. I want to say a million thanks to Johannus for resolving the situation. He was so caring and so understanding. My mother was his priority. Other staff working at reception should take a leaf out of his book. I will go back to the Maryborough because of him. Thank you Johannus….the hotel is lucky to have you.

Beautiful hotel located in a quiet area close to Cork. staff is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is amazing , with freshly made hot plates eg their eggs benedict and house omelet are great! Also the buffet has enough choice. Plenty of choice on the menu for dinner. High quality food . Clean and tidy room with good bed and bathroom facilities. Parking is for free and enough parking spots.
