Excellent venue for our family wedding. Everywhere was spotless, service was generally excellent and food very good. However, breakfast was ruined by the over gilding of the lily i.e. jus on my French toast. Sometimes less is more! This also applied to the citrus scent which was overpowering.

Really enjoyed our recent stay. We were there for a wedding and stayed an extra night. The rooms are fine, the staff is excellent, the breakfast is good (good choice from the menu, good buffet). Lovely setting, and don't forget your bathing costume / togs as the pool is worth visiting, too! And the gym!

We were in Cork for a night away and we're so glad we chose the Maryborough. We were initially greeted by Gráinne at reception who was wonderful, very friendly and went well out of her way to really make our trip great! She made us feel right at home. The room was fabulous, beautiful balcony view looking over the garden,...

We recently began a trip to Ireland with a couple of nights at the Maryborough. I could have stayed there longer, but the road beckoned us. It has everything you need...very comfortable beds, excellent restaurant, nice bar, a spa if you're so inclined (the hot tub was very relaxing), and beautiful surroundings. Very close to all local tourist attractions...Jameson, the...

Stayed here for a wedding recently. Hotel looks quaint and welcoming, love the fact that you are entering an old house but flows nicely into a new build, plenty of parking but watch out for the puddles on a wet day. Pleasant arrival and friendly checkin. Room was ready for 2pm which was great. Offered plenty of help with bags...
