I really enjoyed my night in this hostel. All the staff were really lovely, and went out of their way to help. The dorm rooms were good value for money, and were spotlessly clean. The kitchen was really useful, and had free wifi, free hot drinks and free breakfast as well as a seating area with vending machines. The bar...

As far as a hostel goes Bru has everything your looking for. Clean rooms, friendly staff close location to bus and train stations, and a great bar with live music every night downstairs. For the price and what you get, really no where better in Cork to stay.

One night stop in Cork. The hostel has a bar down stairs and we stayed in a 4 female dorm (2 beds booked). The room was clean and small on the second floor. About €16/18 a night. (No plugs by the bed but there is a light). Breakfast was plain. Cereal tea coffee and toast. There is a Spa Shop...

Loved the central location of the hostel and felt very very safe there. The bar downstairs is well ran and well maintained. I had a lot of fun with the nightly live music. The hostel is very centrally located to lots of good food and some tour areas such as Paddy Wagon tours. It's also about a 10 min easy...

Went to The Bru for drinks and live music, what a great place! With music playing and people enjoying a drink listening away I was greeted by 2 great bar maidens ( Mide and Aoife ) who were a great laugh and happy to serve us, my wife and I had a drink or two and would come back here...

I stayed in a private room with a friend. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were mostly helpful and friendly. Breakfast included was good. The bar was cool and welcoming with discounts for residents. The hostel has a good feel. Would recommend to those visiting in Cork.

What can i say it is a hostel with everything that you need. It was clean tidy, room are en-suit. there is free breakfast and late bar, for a stag weekend is is perfect. It is in the center of cork city and there is plenty of other bars nearby. Staff are friendly too, enjoyed my stay.

Some of its rooms are nice, others less so. There is a lack of (rightly placed) sockets so make sure to bring an extra long cable... Also, I had been moved to another room halfway my stay (without notification beforehand). This was, including my 35kg luggage and the tons of stairs that they have, not a very nice experience. Room...

Stayed at this hostel for one night as I was travelling from Dublin to Galway . Bit pricey for the basic room you'll get. The rooms are really noisy, it was smelly and to fall asleep was almost impossible. Our bathroom was small and smelled like fish. It is good for a short term stay or for younger people. Reception...

I enjoyed the days spent there. Lovely hostel, clean and comfotable. The staff is amazing and if you wanna listen to some good live music while drinking a beer you can stay downstairs at the bar. Near to the bus station, and less than 10 min walk to the train station and to the city centre.

Thank Barlanna
