Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic stay at the Imperial Hotel. Staff were excellent, room was spotless and well maintained and the service in the restaurant and bar was great. We picked this Hotel due to it's location to the centre and would definitely recommend. Will come back again!

The Imperial is the best hotel in Ireland and probably the whole of Europe. The wonderful staff give fantastic service and treat you like family. We visit as often as possible. The food is first class and have never had a better breakfast sausage.

We were made to feel so special from the momentwe arrived. A truly relaxing comfortable stay with delicious food! We'll be back for sure. Nothing was a bother at all. We appreciated the late checkout and the ease of leaving our baggage in great care while we were in the city.

i love this hotel. Truly one of the great Cork/Irish Hotels. The Grand Dame of Cork Hospitality. Service Food Cleanliness and attention to detail abound. What makes it stand out is the personal touch. A welcome from the wonderful Heah Concierge Christy to Breda in the delightful Cafe / Bistro ... in fact all the Team is amazing. Like all the staff these two great Team Members epitomise total devotion to guest care. Bravo and Thank you Team Imperial !

Myself and my husband had a lovely break away from the kids overnight on bank holiday Monday 1st April 2024. We had a beautiful Deluxe double room. Everything was high quality and of a high standard (up to date decor but with a vintage style). The staff were very friendly and very helpful. We had lunch in the restauran on arrival which was delicious. I had booked this as a surprise for my husbands birthday. So it was great that we had a lovely stay. Would highly recommend the Imperial Hotel.

Nice hotel with beautiful entrance hall and decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful, from the concerierge staff, reception staff, housekeeping staff and restaurant staff, all very pleasant and chatty. Breakfast was wonderful and we loved the freshly squeezed orange juice. We found our bedroom and bathroom to be a little on the small size and didn't have any window view worth mentioning.

I have stayed at the Imperial Hotel many times over the past twenty years because it's the best hotel in town. I have to say that the quality of service I receive has not diminished in all that time. It is a huge credit to the staff and management of the hotel that they can maintain such a consistent level of service over such a sustained period. My special thanks on my recent trip goes to Mark who was very helpful before my trip, to Geraldine at the front desk and not forgetting Christy the Concierge. I would fully recommend this fabulous hotel.
