Stayed over New Year long weekend. Room wasn't ready, then when was - kids bed not in the room. No phone in room. Small window curtain on big window. Booked for "restaurant", restaurant was booked for a venue, had to eat in bar - buffet only, only 2 starters (soup & chowder) 4 mains (E18 to have food slopped onto plate-had received email day before check in telling is about how how good food and variety) Booking was for 5.30pm and they had already sold out of some of the kids options. Next day the husband and son where still the change room when the staff member started locking up. Same problem with food, This time they had also sold out of drinks. No snacks at bar. Second night of getting takeaway from local chipper. On checking out they had lost the voucher I had given them... As others have said, should have closed altogether or just allowed the guests from the 3 venues and/or when booking stated that there was only a buffet and different hours for pool

Had a 3 night stay here from the 28th December and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Let me start by acknowledging the current Covid pandemic and the impact it’s having on the hospitality industry, however with that said the lack of service and calamity of events was far beyond being able to use Covid as an excuse. On entering our room after checkin we were greeted by the most horrendous smell of urine in the bedroom, it was so obvious that I struggle to see how we were let check in, without the room being quality checked first. On complaining at reception a manager and porter came to the room and immediately acknowledged the pungent smell. We were subsequently moved to another room and we hoped that this was an isolated incident and we would enjoy the rest of the break but we were greatly mistaken. The service in the restaurant/bar was taking up to 40 minutes to get a drink, we recieved multiple wrong food orders over the 3 nights dining there,, cold food that had to be sent back, multiple dirty glasses had to be returned, one of which had candle wax in it which my daughter had been drinking out of until she asked me what it was.. being double charged in restaurant bills for drinks we had already paid for, safes not working, heating which we couldn’t turn off, I could go on and on, it was genuinely like staying in Faulty Towers. The only positive feedback I have is for the restaurant manager who was very stressed trying to run a bar and restaurant with untrained inexperienced staff who were in the hotel a wet week. The whole experience was terrible and not what you would expect from the Radisson and it would have been better to close the hotel like other local hotels did to protect their reputation rather than keeping it open but knowing the required level of service couldn’t be given to.

Arrived for a two night get away to a very busy reception with very flustered receptionists. 30 mins in total to be dealt with and to get key card for room. Had requested a cot for room and said that again at reception. Room was OK, business class (had booked superior room?!) double and single bed and no cot. Had booked a king bed. No nespresso maker as stated. Light over bed was broken and unable to turn off at night. Bathroom was small and walls had been repaired in patches with a different colour. It was clean. Bed was comfy and room was clean. We were looking out onto car dealership. Bottles of water were great. Didn't want to go back to reception about cot as I actually felt sorry for them. Our child slept for the first time in a single bed! Booked dinner new years day for the restraunt or so we thought. We were placed in the bar. It was chaos. Buffet style for the adults but ordered at the table for the kids. We had our meals gone before our kids pasta arrived....it was like it had been sitting in water for over an hour :-( Dessert was lovely. Our bedroom was not cleaned for the two night stay. We had a nice bit of rubbish by the time we were checking out and felt awful leaving it for the staff doing our room. A bag of towels and toiletries were left hanging off our door on our return the second day. To be honest I found this wasn't nice. Could they not have opened the door and placed it inside? Breakfast both mornings was lovely. Both staff and food was the highlight to be honest. Looks like there was more management present in the morning time. Upon checkout I was asked was our stay stay OK... I said it was grand/OK and wasn't questioned any further. Overall this is our third visit to the radisson and I felt that next time we might give another hotel a go which is a shame as we love the lobby and the pool areas.

The hotel is a bit outside Cork City so you’d need a car for sure. Room very comfortable with all the facilities you’d expect from an identikit mid-range business hotel. Check in was quick and friendly although I was surprised not to be asked at any time for my COVID certificate. I dined in the restaurant. A pretty soulless experience not helped by very few guests and really slow service. The room is functional and not particularly attractive or comfortable. I also found it cold which, in fairness, could be down to their covid measures but it encouraged me to eat up and vamoose as quickly as possible. My burger and was on the meh side of ok but met my mediocre expectations. I was surprised that I couldn’t charge the meal to my room as I hadn’t prepaid for it. Strange and a nuisance for the expenses. My first time here. Not bad, just not particularly good.

We came on January 2nd. We asked for a room without bunk beds in it after paying for a superior room, they said there was none available initially, then they said they would check but we never heard back from reception. We were told via email as we were travelling at around 2 o'clock there was no Al a Carte menu for dinner and it would be a buffet. Buffet was poor, food was average and no Gluten free options. Drinks menu was heavily reduced also as they said the suppliers had not delivered. Breakfast the next morning was a worse experience, food was all reheats and none of it fresh. The bar area was still dirty from the night before also. The staff were doing their best but overall was a really poor experience for the money spent.
