The price for a room is very high compared to the things you get. A breakfast is not included et all!! The rooms were dirty and run down. The place is not a friendly one at all. I would not recommend this place. The only positive aspect is the way to the city center which is only 5 min.

Let me start by saying that I would absolutely stay at Ardara House again, because cheap, clean, & safe is pretty much all I require. But most of the hostels I've stayed in have had more appeal than my room in this B&B. It's not that I expect much when I don't pay that much, but there was just the... More

I stayed for 2 nights and I used it as my base while in Cork city. It's located in the Patrick's hill area/Mc Curtain street. It is about 10 minutes walk from the B&B to the centre of the city and a lovely walk it is. The B&B does what it says on the tin, clean rooms, good breakfast, nothing bad at all... More

I stayed in Ardara House for one night. I was travelling on my own, so I had a double room enuite to myself for only 35 Euro. It was very clean, cosy and Mary was so sweet. She was helpful, the breaktfast was really good and I just felt so comfortable. It's very close to the centre, only 10 Minutes... More

Whilst the room hadn't changed, still the old yet still mainly, comfortable mattress the sheets were clean. Although the shower looked clean I think it had only been given a cursory clean as the last guest's shampoo was still in there in the same place as they left it. (shampoo on the ledge but the cap on the floor of... More

I was down in Cork for work over two days and Decided to book into this B&B to save me traveling from Limerick again the following day! With the price being so low I really didn't know what to expect but what I found was just perfect for what I wanted. The room was warm, clean, and comfortable. My mattress... More

Great place to stay if you're visiting Cork City and County. The house is about a 5 minute walk to Patrick St which is the main street in the City. Stayed here with my boyfriend in August of this year. Can't remember his name, but the manager with the dark hair was amazing with us. He had some great recommendations... More

I stayed for only 1 night and did not use the breakfast. This is a basic B&B, but the price match the value, and the superb service made the deal great for me. Pros: - great service: Aidan was absolutely welcoming and offered special care beyond what you would normally expect from hotel/B&B staff: 1. transferred my luggage from a... More
