Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Loved this place and could have stayed longer. Our host, Caroline, was very welcoming, and definitely quick on her feet. There was a slight mixup in our arrival date and she responded quickly and helpfully so that we weren't stranded. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, breakfast was excellent and as we were the only guests in the breakfast room in the mornings, Caroline chatted with us while we ate, which was so nice, as we got to hear what was happening in the area and got tips of what to do and where to go. We were sad to leave and will likely return if the fates allow.

I've stayed in many B&Bs in Europe over the last 10 years. Without question, the Killarney House is the best facility I've EVER stayed in!! This B&B is exceptional in every regard. Until my visit here, I'd never stayed in a B&B that is actually superior to many 4-star hotels! I could not be more impressed with the Killarney House.

The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate. Comfortable, very clean and well appointed. The entire room was first-class. The other public rooms were also very nice. Obviously, the Morgans takes great pride in their B&B and their business. The breakfast was also excellent.

Our hostess, Sinead, was an absolute delight. She seemed to be genuinely interested in our needs and went out of her way to assist us with information regarding the sites to see in Cork, Cobh and Kinsale.

I give KIllarney House my highest recommendation. In fact, I will go out of my way to stay here again when I visit County Cork again. On checkout, I suggested to Sinead that they should raise their prices!!!! Just joking, but if your travels take you to this area of Ireland, stay here. You won't regret it!

Well done Morgan family! Very well done!

Very nice home with comfortable accommodations. The owners/family very friendly and personable. Private entrance to the home and no disruptions. Location made local attractions very accessible.
The only detractors are no shampoo/lotion provided. Breakfast was good, but not included.

This is definately a B and B, and not a hotel. Small comfortable room, ours overlooked the backyard clothesline. Clean functional bathroom. Was greeted and registered by one of the daughters, didn't see the parents until the next day. Got to listen to piano practice (luckily, not too bad). Breakfast was fine, not remarkable other than that they were willing to vary from the menu for certain dietary restrictions. The father saw us in the driveway and asked what are plans were, gave us some good routing and destination information and suggestions. There was a large family reunion also staying there-very noisy in the breakfast room and the salon.

We stayed here the day we toured Blarney Castle and enjoyed the welcome attention of the owners/family. We felt right at home! They showed us our room which was large with a comfortable bed, desk, wardrobe, sitting area, tv, large bay window and beautiful clean bathroom! The bay window looked out the front of the home. They are located less than 5 minutes from Blarney Castle and it is actually a short walk to the stores and restaurants. The family made us feel very welcome and the breakfast was excellent. There were many choices on the menu and all cooked to order. We met the father as we were leaving and he was very friendly and we chatted and exchanged stories about customs and children. This is a B & B built specifically to accommodate visitors and make them feel welcome with large quiet and private rooms. We highly recommend Killarney House for a stay! Thank you for the great room and excellent breakfast!!

We were helped by one of the local shop keepers to find this accommodation at last minute. Could not have done better. Extended our stay another night in this quality BnB. Warm welcome, good sized room, good shower, great breakfast. Could not have asked for more.

Our one night stay was perfect. The owner was lovely and welcoming. She provided recommendations for local attractions and pubs, which was helpful. Our room was neat and tidy and it was nice to have a hair dryer in the room. The (optional) breakfast was quite tasty.

Was greeted by Caroline when we pulled into the drive. Extremely nice and wanted to ensure all of our needs were addressed. We were staying for 2 nights. The room had plenty of space with bed, couch, and desk. Ensuite was very nice with good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast was delicious having the traditional Irish breakfast (Egg, sausage, bacon, fried tomato, toast, and juice). I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this B&B. Location less than 5 minutes from the Blarney Castle and within walking distance from downtown.

This was our first b&b we stayed at after we left Dublin. Frank, the owner, was wonderful! He gave great insight for our trip and our room/ breakfast was lovely. The three of us ladies felt safe and at home. Walked everywhere. Would recommend making a stop at the Woolen Mills shop and dinner at the Muskerry Arms while staying! Happy traveling!

We only stayed here two nights, but they were comfortable! Within walking distance to Blarney and the Castle; other than that there is Cork if you enjoy the city. This B&B is in a nice neighborhood and sits off the road for privacy. Although we were greeted by the oldest daughter as mentioned in some other reviews, I have to say in defense that we did arrive at their dinner time. She was very knowledgeable and polite and we personally did not mind. Beds are comfortable and the breakfast good as well.
