The rooms are comfortable and well priced, Patrick and Regina are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts have a menu so you can choose what fits your palate and the food is wonderful. Walking distance to Blarney Castle and the local pub. I stay here every time I'm in Ireland because I enjoy it so much.
Loved this place! The room was clean and quiet. The salmon omelette was amazing. Best of all the owners were super friendly! The house was within walking distance to the village and the castle. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
This is a beautiful B&B that is walking distance to town and the castle. When we realized our power converter was the wrong one, the owner gladly lent one of his to us. The breakfast was the best on the trip, a smoked salmon omelette that I am sure I will dream about when I am home. Highly recommend this wonderful place!
This B&B is in a Brilliant location, comfy bed, lovely hosts and delicious breakfast. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Really easy to find and book. Also recommend the coffee and apple pie at the Old Post Office Cafe outside Blarney castle. Thanks Pat and Regina.
This is a beautiful B&B run by Pat and Regina who were both very friendly. Location wise it is fabulous. It was very easy to find and is on a main road but not necessarily a busy one (at least not when I wen tin late September). There is free parking on site- being our 2nd day in Ireland we did have a bit of trouble trying to get out of the space the next day when it was full but I believe that was more due to nerves and not being comfortable with the car. The other guests were friendly and offered to back out for us if needed. Walking to downtown Blarney is about 10 minutes along sidewalks with lights dispersed throughout. We felt very safe. Downtown Blarney is very small and is located around a square; in Pat's words it is very hard to get lost in Blarney. There is not a large selection of restaurants so if you are looking for a lot of choices drive back into Cork which is about 15 minutes away. Otherwise we ate at the first pub we arrived at (Pat's recommendation)- Muskerry Arms. The room itself was clean and comfortable. We had arranged for 2 twins which was actually 1 double and 1 twin so that was perfect. Our front window had a view of Blarney Castle in the distance. The bathroom was equipped with a towel warmer and blow drier. Luckily Pat gave us forewarning to run the water for 1-2 minutes prior to getting in the shower for it to warm up, but once it did there was no shortage of hot water. There is a living room for all the guest to use and an outside area which we did not use since we were off exploring. Breakfast was served in lovely dining room. There was a buffet table with different cereals, fruit, yogurts, and juices. At the table you ordered off a menu, which for us including the choice of Irish breakfast, baked beans on toast, pancakes, or an omelet with salmon. Regina was very friendly and allowed us to try a piece of the black and white pudding along with the bacon since we had never had it before. Breakfast is also served with toast and your choice of tea or coffee. I would definitely recommend staying at the Whitehouse B&B.…
