We had been traveling throughout Ireland and stayed at some beautiful places but this one was the perfect blood pressure lowering, peaceful, beautiful spot to recharge for the last leg. We've had some pretty packed days but I genuinely looked forward to getting back and chatting with Eucharia and Fergus about our adventures and curling up in cozy beds. We brought our 2 kids, 16 and 12 and, even though they're city kids, they really loved it here, especially getting to pet Harvey, their sweet 2 year old lab. They accommodated my gluten free diet and the food was outstanding! We will most definitely be back!

Wow - What a great place to stay. Fergus & Eucharia are wonderful hosts and we were grateful that they shared their home and knowledge with us. Our only regret was that we didn't get to talk with them longer as they are very pleasant people and have so much to offer.

The setting was beautiful and peaceful! We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast each morning followed by a lovely walk on the property/garden to start the mornings off the right way.

Fergus & Eucharia gave great advice on what to see and where to eat. Their advice helped us beat the crowds and put us on some great places to enjoy a wonderful meal. Fergus also was able to give us some great suggestions on what to see and do on the next leg of our vacation in Ireland.

We would most definitely recommend this as a quality place to stay in the Blarney area. You won't be disappointed!

Such a wonderful Bed and Breakfast, I hope to be able to return one day! I'm from Florida and seeing Ireland was my dream vacation or as they say, holiday. Our host was just a truly wonderful lady and she made a yummy breakfast. The beds were so comfortable I slept like a baby! The house and gardens were beautiful!

To be fair, Mrs. Fergus was off to Spain so we didn't interact much with her, but Mr. Fergus was delightful. He was quite the storyteller (ask about "Killer 1" and "Killer 2) Best sausage we had during our trip. He really took care to present the best Ireland had to offer. Highly recommended! The lack of street signs for most roads had us driving around in circles for a while until a kind jogger helped us out. Might be a good idea to see if they can meet you somewhere.

We are really impressed about this B&B; everything is perfect; Westwood Country House is located in a very nice surrounding area near by Blarney. The rooms are very nice and the living room and the entrance hall invite you for a gentle stay in the evening. Breakfast ist very good and you will get own fresh eggs. Clair and Fergus, the owner of the B&B, took great care to us during our stay; we felt like living in a familiy.
Clair and Fergus - thanks again for the great time we were allowed to spent with you.

Getting a warm welcome with excellent ! homemade scones on arrival,Wow.Westwood Country House is an excellent located for visiting Cork and Blarney Castle, home of the famous Blarney Stone,The surrounding grounds and view are epic ,The house it self is nice and quiet. The morning breakfast around the "Olympic dining table "was just rich and delicious. We were fortunate to get a double room(Could have been slightly bigger) with an impressive huge bathroom ! The Hannon's are a charming couple. They will not rest till they are 101% sure their guests are happy .I'll be back !

Our first B&B in Ireland for our honeymoon was a fantastic experience. Eucharia and Fergus welcomed us into their home and made us feel like part of the family. Traditional Irish Breakfast every morning started our days there off heartily. Their recommendations for places to see and where to eat in the area were wonderful. The gardens made some of our best and favorite photos. We had only 3 days with them this trip, however we will plan on longer when we return to Ireland!!

We stayed one night at Westwood Country House and would have happily stayed more! The hosts were very friendly and were extremely thorough in offering us ideas of what to do the following day (which was very much appreciated!) we arrived rather late, and again the hosts were very gracious and waited up for us to arrive. The room was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed being able to have a DVD player and have a quiet night too! Breakfast was fantastic, and we were happy to see Vegemite on offer too! Would stay here again, could not fault our experience.

This hotel is 20 mins from Cork airport, and about 10 mins to Cork centre. Blarney is beautiful and this B&B is the perfect place to stay. The house and gardens are immaculate. Spotlessly clean. The room had an amazing view and nice furniture, the bathroom was pristine. The owners cannot do enough for you and have brilliant advice on local things to do.
It has free wi-fi and it has a good reception too. The only bad points, if I had to mention any, are that we didnt get our freshly baked scones on arrival, which we were really looking forward to and as it was a beautiful day it would have been amazing to have them in the gorgeous gardens. The breakfast was a bit on the small side but we stuffed our selves with delicious homemade soda bread!
Also, we were recommended a pub down the road to dine, but didn't think much of it really. The food was ok and you get massive amounts, but the outside dining area is enclosed and shaded.
However apart from those small downsides (and they are small) I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone! Had a lovely time.

Yet again we have had a wonderful time sharing the home and hospitality of Eucharia and Fergus.

Both they and their beautiful house are second to none.

Once you have experienced Westwood Country House, you will need look no further for somewhere to stay in the Blarney area.

We will be returning here in 2013. Why would we want to go anywhere else?

Thanks again Eucharia and Fergus.
