We have stayed here many times and each time we are treated to the same friendly, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Brian and Susan could not do enough for you and nothing is a problem. Real value for money. The building is set is an amazing picturesque landscape and a good nights sleep is guaranteed. Lots of local amenities though we usually haven't time to avail of them!

I stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend and we had a great time. The double room was spacious and very clean. There was tea and coffee facilities and hairdryer provided in the room . The bed was really comfy. Only small thing was that the power in the shower wasn't very strong but other than that you could not fault the place. Brian was very friendly and suggested great places for us to go and see. The breakfast both mornings was great I had a full Irish the first morning and scrambled eggs and bacon the second. The portions were quite big and very tasty. It was my boyfriends birthday the second day and Brian had no problem with bringing out a cake for him and his daughter Ruth helped too. Brian was very helpful during our stay and made sure we knew that he was there if we needed anything . We had a great time in blarney and will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area. Great B&b :)

While taking a road trip through Ireland this was our first stop. We were welcomed into their home, shown our choice of room and the 2 we were shown were both beautiful! They suggested several sights to see in the area, asked where we were from and where we were headed, in a genuine curiosity and with the authentic "want" to suggest routes to take, places to stop along the way, places to eat, where to catch a ferry to minimize drive time - they were so helpful in so many ways. We were also asked what we would like for breakfast and if their menu didn't seem appetizing, they offered to make something else which was great! If you're looking to go someplace and never have the pleasure to interact, then a B&B is not your place to go, find a hotel. The beds were VERY comfortable and we got such a peaceful nights sleep in the country with a full moon gently lighting the room (however that wasn't something we ordered). We also had the great pleasure of meeting their kids, for it is after all, their home and they were just adorable! I would recommend staying here to anyone I know, and while we only stayed one night, I wish we'd stayed longer but we were on a road trip to discover Ireland in a short amount of time. Thank you, for inviting us into your home, allowing us the pleasure of meeting your family and cooking a delicious breakfast for us!

Ended up in this B&B accidentally. B&B where we had original reservation had some problems with water leakage, and they re-booked us here. Except they did not tell us that even though original reservation and full prepayment was for a 4***, we ended up in a 3***. We felt ripped off. Mediocre by all standarts - not very worm but very strict host. Atypical for Ireland. We asked for a blanket, they could not provide one. Will not come back.

My wife and I had a great stay here, the room was clean and cozy, and our hosts were very welcoming. Breakfast in the morning was delicious; afterwards I went to use the pay phone but was informed that it broken just a few days before. I thought I'd have to find one in town but was immediately asked for the number I needed to call (my car hire company) and was given a cell phone to use, what fantastic service! And of course, we were only a few minutes from Blarney Castle was a great sight to see while we were there.

I booked lanesville directly over the phone with the owner after looking at their web page. Myself and my boyfriend were attending a Wedding in Ballincollig on the Saturday and wanted to stay here on the Friday night.
When we arrived at the room it was clean and tidy but the TV didn't work, we only had RTE 1 which wasn't great considering there was no guest living room and we were confined to our rooms. There was a plaque on the wall asking us to please vacate the room by 10:30 am. 12 noon is a internationally accepted check out time! It states nowhere on their we page that there is an early check out time and we weren't told until when booking on the phone. I had a hair appointment at 10am and my plan was to attend my appointment, return to the room to get dressed and do my make up then check out at noon for a 1pm wedding. The early check out really ruined our plans.

I thought to myself that surely there won't be a problem staying until 12 under the circumstances but I was wrong. I explained to the owner Bryan the situation and asked would we be able to come back around 11 just to get dressed etc and he said no and asked us to please be out of the room by 10:30 as he was expecting other guests at 12:30pm. I was not 1 bit impressed. We therefore had to check out at 9:30 for my hair appointment. My boyfriend had to sit around in the car on a very hot day waiting and we had no where to get dressed for the wedding! My boyfriend got dressed in the car and I had to find a dirty public toilet to do my make up in and get ready for a wedding in! It ruined my day as I felt thrown together after spending so much money on the special day!

I would never stay here again as they could care less about their customers. I was sickened to hand over the €70 we paid. I've since seen on booking.com that they state that their check out time is 10:30am and their check in time is 4:30pm! Why is this not on their own web page and plus if we were kicked out on the morning of a bloody wedding ball gown and suit in tow because they were so strick about their times then why was this other couple allowed to check into our room 4 hours early!!! A lie to get us out the door no doubt!!

Also I was not happy with the flat out no you have to leave by Bryan considering at breakfast he poured himself a cup of coffee, pulled up a chair a joined us! He sat there watching us eat and talked to us for a half hour. He intruded on our breakfast but we entertained him as not to be rude despite the fact that it was mine and my partners anniversary also that day and we wanted to be alone.

Very unprofessional when it suits and over professional and inconsiderate when it suits!

The title says it well. A tidy room, clean and well cared for, with all facilities as expected in a B&B. Breakfast was delicious and Susie was keen and willing to do anything to make sure we had enough to eat. As we stayed two nights, Brian had some wonderful suggestions on what we could do whilst we stayed there by exploring the areas around and also recommended some restaurants for eating. We appreciate the friendliness of the hosts in making our stay that much more relaxing and rewarding. Thanks!

Stayed here after a family wedding instead of driving home.
The owners were most accomodating as we arrived late after the wedding and they could not be more understanding.
Greatly appreciated full irish breakfast the next morning.
Lovely ,fresh and warm room.
Will definitely stay here again and will highly recommend this b&b to all, Especially to families and friends.

When we arrived at the Lanesville B&B, my husband and I were exhausted and definitely in need of a good place to stay. We came across Lanesville because of the B&B sign they had posted on the main street and thought we'd check it out. We were very glad we did!! The owners were super friendly and the rate was absolutely reasonable. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the entire place was nice and quiet. Breakfast the next morning was the traditional Irish breakfast and the owners didn't skimp on serving sizes. The advise we received regarding local attractions, including the Blarney Stone, were dead on and thanks to that advise we did not have to wait in line! My husband and I were on our honeymoon so the trip was super special to us and Susan & Brian definitely helped make the trip that much better!
