We had a most wonderful stay at Hotel Woodstock this June and I would highly recommend you do the same! It's a lovely, comfortable and well presented hotel and as soon as you arrive, you know you made the right choice! The staff are more than helpful and always ready to help. We had a huge bedroom and it was clean, fresh and comfy. The food is delicious and the breakfast very generous with something for every taste. I would strongly advise you consider this hotel for your next staycation. The location is just perfect for exploring the beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way and so much more!
The hotel is a short drive outside Ennis but a car is a must if visiting this hotel. It was very quiet during our stay except for the children running around who appear to be staying longer term. We had lunch in the bar which was ok, we opted to go into town for dinner. Breakfast was ok, a buffet selection but again kids running around and families who were hoarding plates of food to bring to their rooms not leaving much selection for others. No one at the reception desk when we were checking out so we just left. Happy enough to stay again for a single night trip but didn’t have the comfort for me if staying a few nights. Carpets are all very dusty in the rooms and corridors and could do with a deep clean. Room was a good size for a family.
Highly recommend Hotel Woodstock located 10 mins from Ennis with a lovely Leisure Center and fab golf course. Very friendly and accommodating staff, nice decor, comfy beds, fab food and drinks. Very calm and relaxing, nice walks. Nothing is too much trouble at Hotel Woodstock. Thank you again Sean and Elaine. I will be back soon and I am sorry stay wasn't longer this time.
We recently visited your lovely hotel for a holy communion party, the venue was amazing, the food delicious and the service outstanding and attentive. I would thoroughly recommend this venue for any gathering. Had an excellent experience here and the grounds were spectacular for the family photos.
Recently stayed here ,March 2022, for a weekend break with a family group. Check in was very busy, and they weren't quite ready for our group, but we relaxed in the bar and were well looked after ,and entertained. Staff were very friendly Service was very good, even when the bar was full. Rooms were spacious and very clean. We had dinner on first night,a birthday celebration, and food was lovely. Our group included 1 vegan,,and this was no problem at all.Public areas were very clean at all times. Only a few minutes drive outside Ennis so shopping for anyone who was interested.A few of us stayed 2nd night, visited Cooler Park, just outside Gort. Also highly recommend this spot Lovely walks and coffee shop with locally sourced produce. Would definitely stai in this hotel again
Poor value for money food was nice but restaurant cost was too expensive ordered drinks never arrived but was on bill when I was paying. Will be avoiding this hotel in future. A B and B probably would’ve been a better choice
Nice old style hotel not far from Ennis centre, quiet area surrounded by woodlands which has a leisure centre including pool, sauna , steam room etc. so nice to use and relax for an hour or so , reception staff were lovely and most helpful
Lovely large rooms and really comfortable beds. Staff were really helpful and loaned me a swimming hat (be warned non Irish guests - you have to wear swimming hats in leisure pools!). Just a shame about the noise from the unruly children of other guests and the very tired pool facilities (including a large hole in the ceiling)
Great visit. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. John from the pub was hysterical. My only negative is that there was no guest laundry. We were 3 ladies on a 3 week multi country holiday and it took away time trying to find and do laundry . Everything else was wonderful, I definitely would stay again.
The online pictures of the hotel had me very excited about my stay. While the reception area was very welcoming, upon closer inspection everything was really dated. The lamps in my room had stains on them, the bathroom door knob was coming off, the bed was uncomfortable, and the television didn't work. Also, the overall smell of the hotel was damp and it only worsened as it rained.
