Wouldn't stay or recommend Very dated, not very clean, nothing like photos on website, Rip in side of bed ,toilet seat broken when I brought it to attention of reception it was fixed with green tape, not very hygienic, no maintenance person to replace it the 3 days we where there, weather was very warm temp in 20s no fans available for room no air-conditioning, staff unsure of what they were doing ,fight broke out one evening very frightening, management reprimanded staff (security man and barman )in front of guess not very professional, management need to revisit risk assessments and health and safety and retrain staff , Worst experience ever
Great weekend there with my family. The staff were fantastic. The rooms were very spacious and overall we really enjoyed our stay especially during covid. Restrictions were in place and made me feel really comfortable with the kids
Hotel v clean, kids club fantastic. The boys loved going down and we had quality time to ourselves. They had movies and disco nights for the kids. We were able to go to a restaurant then. They also had breakfast train for the kids in the mornings.
Rooms were basic, beds not that comfortable. Bath tub wasn't cleaned when we arrived. Food isn't great. Breakfast buffet is basic, the breakfast bag is very good. Staff are friendly but service was shocking. Waited over 30 mins one evening to order (long time with 2 young kids). Drinks were forgotten when we asked for them. Had to ask for table to be cleared a good 25 mins after we had finished to order desert. We had ordered lunch one of the days and a side of chips. We were asked 3 times how the food was and 3 times told them about the chips. Eventually came when our lunch was finished. Food wasn't great.. overall an OK stay for our first time in clare.
Staff were very accodomating and friendly. Receptionists were extremely welcoming. Swimming pool was nice and run quite well and gym staff were lovely. Food was just average. Beds were absolutely awful. Kids club was extremely poorly run. Very little interaction with kids. Music for kids disco was very inappropriate and lights completely turned off for same leaving kids dancing in the dark which was quite strange and small kids bumping into each other. A small disco light or projector with lights would have made a huge difference. Over all it was an enjoyable trip but some small changes would make a big difference.
