Absolutely filthy, rooms dirty. Located in a housing estate and back of a mechanics. Realised within minutes we were sharing a hotel with people who were made permanent residents as they were drug users and homeless. Left early. Staff were as friendly as they could be and understood our frustrations
Very Good Hotel, Rooms were very comfortable, very clean, breakfast 5 star, Nice quiet Location, close to all amenities, Staff supervisor Lenka looked after our every need. Some of our group would certainly make a return Trip. Overall very enjoyable stay.
Great hotel good size rooms, very clean , breakfast 5-star,staff are great Tom the owner this a gentleman, great location staff very knowledgeable of the local area would recommend for anyone to stay there if you are wanting to visit clare as its a good location to explore west of Ireland as good transport to tour the west of Clare
150 for room only for 1 night 2 adults 1 child Very poor accommodation, tiny room very dated, all knobs missing off press that tv was on, Bathroom has cracked sink , shower curtain over bath went out with the Indian's, Bedroom looked like it was painted by kids , paint all over light switch , as was hall way, storage heater hanging off the wall , chips out of wall in places, carpet was well overdue a change , carpet on stairs stank like someone had used it as a toilet it stank, I could go on and on vert disappointment on our stay, 2 good points to report , decent power shower and us getting out of there was the other, never again
What a dump .. smells blood on the one of the pillows when it was turned over .. carpet smelled of piss the night porter was rude beyond disbelief. A complaint was made about us phoning him 🤣 because of that complaint he asked us to leave i told him what they where hearing was me ringing him because of the paper thin walls , this hotel is used for social housing the family next door where rough loud and you cold hear him and her fighting. Other people where outside arguing under our window all night but the night porter had nothing to say to them the coward . Falty towers eat your heart you . If you like rough places where you could easily get killed on top of everything else work away s☆☆t hole
We stayed here for 3 nights as a family of 5 in July. We were accomadated perfectly in 2 rooms and kept private from other guests meaning our kids could come in and out of our room when needed. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice to set us up well for the day. Brilliant location for exploring Clare, with all the attractions little more than 30 minutes away. Staff very helpful. Loved Co Clare and loved staying here and using it for our base.
I checked the reviews after booking this hotel and to be honest I expected the worst... On arrival the receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly... She gave us a complimentary beverage while we waited for our room to be ready... I had rang the hotel the previous day to enquire if the rooms had air con due to the heatwave and was told no, however the staff member ensured me that he would provide us a room with a balcony.... Our room was spacious, clean had all the necessary amenities and of course a walk in balcony.... The price of the stay was very reasonable as we're the drinks and breakfast which was just 7.50 per person... The walk into ennis Town centre is about 7 minutes... Only fault I had was limited parking and limited outdoor seating... I would however recommend and would definitely stay again…
Booked last minute, overpriced for what you get, clean sheets and bathroom but dirty carpets, curtains, lampshade. Lumpy uncomfortable bed, smelly halls, rickety lift. Breakfast was OK but seating held old lumps of food. Not good.
Hotel was very good value. But not very modern. Double bed was two singles put together, which I dont like as they are uncomfortable. It was quite grubby. Location wasn't too bad. But I would not make a return visit.
I arrived for a short 2 night stay in Ennis booked last minute on booking.com On arrival we were greeted by a street fight outside the hotel, the room was tiny smelled bad and the bed was not a double but two single beds together and both were actually broken, most uncomfortable sleep iv ever had. It's also clear that the "hotel" is being used for social housing and it felt like a halfway house. At night there was a lot of noise and I had to call the police on the second night as there was another fist fight outside. The "carpark " has no markings and can accommodate about 5 cars , l was blocked in on one occasion. All in all it was a rough experience, I have stayed in better hostels. I didnt bother to complain to management as the lack of care that was evident everywhere led me to believe it would be pointless. My back is in bits I cant wait to get home to my own bed, avoid at all costs....…
