Champany has an longstanding reputation for excellence and fine dining. Reception staff were friendly , helpful and informative. The room was large and the huge bed extremely comfortable. We came mainly to sample what was an excellent meal in the candlelit dining room. The staff were unobtrusive and professional treating us like royalty. My steak was the best I have...

We returned after 13 years to find that the inn is as nice as our last visit. We appreciated the warm welcome by the ladies at the reception area and the comfortable, immaculately clean room. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the Chop House with very good service...the lamb chops and mint sauce were excellent. The cooked to order breakfast...

We have stayed near this restaurant for 18 years now and never managed to get there. After a work colleague recommended it again we went to try it out. It would be fair to say that the decor isn't very chic but the service was exceptional, the allergy sheet was the best that I have seen anywhere and the food?...

Very impressed by the room and the welcome drinks.Facilities were excellent and staff welcoming and efficient. A little difficulty with the booking as they only had us down for the one night instead of three, but it was soon resolved. Loved the place and will return when in the area next time.

Lovely, clean well-appointed room and ensuite with the usual amenities associated with this level of establishment. While the ensuite was exceptionally large, the shower facilities were disappointing. The bath was long and excellent for anyone wanting a relaxing soak but for those who enjoy a refreshing shower on rising, as I do, then make sure you enquire as to the...

Tried this place after hearing it was good. Wish we'd never wasted our money. Sent the steak back twice as the supposed 'medium rare' came out twice with red raw meat in the middle. No vegetables in the entire restaurant!!! All meals come with chips ... Take it or leave it, and a small salad garnish. Certainly not the fine...

A friendly relaxing place to stay out of the city. The staff friendly, helpful and attentive. Our large room was of a traditional good old Scottish design with all of the amenities you would want in the room. Complementary teas, coffees, Bombay Sapphire miniatures, Famous Grouse miniatures; tonic, still and sparkling waters provided in the room along with a bucket...

Room was surprisingly very big but cosy becuse of the traditional Scottish decor, deep greens and tartan and the lighting. Big king size bed which was very comfortable. Large bathroom with bath and separate shower and large sink ideal for shaving and makeup. Iron and ironing board in the wardrobe and there was also a trouser press. Complimentary tea and...
