We stayed here to break the journey to the highlands with a baby, toddler and dog. Having experienced Travelodges before I was a bit sceptical as to how it would be but I was proved wrong. Lovely welcome and assistance from Tina(?) when we arrived, the room was really clean, modern and comfortable. We all slept very well indeed. My...

We booked into the Travelodge, Dumbarton, as we had to attend a very early funeral in Luss, on the shores of Loch Lomond, and wished to be on the correct side of the River Clyde as the funeral service was at 9.00 a.m. We were welcomed by the young lady on the reception desk, Cheryl, who was both empathetic and...

Me and my family went for a 4 day Christmas break. We all loved staying at the travelodge. We visited the Starbucks which is outside and has free Wifi, the pub (Stonefield) which is across the road they have a all you can eat breakfast and Carvery. There's two petrol stations and a M&S. Our room was next to the...

Great place to stay for a stop over - couldn't want for more. Spotlessly clean & comfortable beds. Easy to find & has plenty to walk to - M&S food, Starbucks, petroleum & a restaurant over the road too. Not too noisy at night - good windows.

Had to stay at the Travelodge, Dumbarton recently as I had an appointment at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital early morning. Also had to take my dog. The hotel was about fifteen to twenty minutes from the hospital. On arrival, I had a lovely room, clean and tidy and quite big, loads of room for me, my husband and dog...

you get what you pay for, very nice receptionist very helpful, very clean and friendly hotel. But next to a railway so the building rumbles every so often, The bed is hard as a rock on both stays. Would go back if stuck, but I will be looking for somewhere with a softer bed away from a motorway and a...

One of the cheapest Travelodges in the Glasgow area but great value for money. Friendly helpful staff at check in, room was warm, clean and beds very comfortable. Only negative was on opening the room door on arrival there was an odour, reminded me of wet dog but I think it was possibly a carpet cleaner smell? Opened the window...

Had 4 nights here while we explored the area. Very comfortable and well positioned for many places of interest. Good for a visit to visit Loch Lomond but also a nice walk into Dumbarton too along the cycle path at the back of the hotel.

Immaculately clean room, and very spacious. Very helfpul and friendly staff. Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at an hotel - I just went flat out and stayed out. Fast and positive Wi-Fi. Despite being sandwiched between a busy road and a railway track, I found the place very quiet indeed. There's a Starbuck's out the front...
