Had a great nights sleep here. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was strong, the breakfast was wonderful and the place was clean, modern without being cold, and in a great location. Our hosts were charming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again anytime. My friend and I had a twin room and it was set up like...

2nd visit this year to Beechwood. Different room but just as good as last time. Spotlessly clean with some nice touches. Hosts Shona and Dave so friendly and obliging. Made feel very welcome, same as last time. Took time to chat to us about their family and ours. Choice for breakfast is excellent. Smooth check-in. Good value. Nothing seems too...

We stayed at the 'Beechwood' recently whilst going to Ayr Races. Having arrived early to leave the car in their car park. We were greeted by a cheery housemaid who offered us our key and an early check-in. (Not expected but very welcome)! The family room was ideal. Decent size, comfy beds and spotlessly clean. The breakfast room was very...

Arrived on holiday from Australia on a Saturday afternoon of the Scottish Cup final. Everything was ideal: friendly greeting by Shona, early book in with keys available, parking at front, upgraded room which had everything and was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant and David gave us some good advice on on a scenic route to take to Edinburgh. All...

I stayed at the Beechwood Guest house for two nights and the only negative comment I have is that it's a shame all B&Bs aren't like this, this is an excellent establishment, the proprietors are welcoming and professional, the room are decorated an furnished to a very high standard. It's a real home from home, very close to Ayr town...

We really enjoyed our short stay at this very cute and quaint B&B. I was sick and so didn't have the opportunity to try what my fiance said was an absolutely wonderful breakfast which is well worth the 5 pounds. Our room was nice and clean, and we appreciated the simple check-in procedure for late arrivals (since we didn't get...

My second time staying at this property. The owners, David & Shona, give a great welcome. Spotless room & en-suite. Yummy breakfasts - I've tried working through the menu (not finished yet!) - but can definitely recommend the french toast, bacon & scottish syrup. Would have absolutely no hesitation recommending this property to anyone travelling to Ayr.

Stayed 2 nights at Beechwood. 2 adults, 18 yr old and our pup. It was excellent. Have stayed in many places and this is up there with the best. Check-in procedure allowed us entry from 12 midday which really suited our arrival in Ayr. We had a good sized room which was modern and well equipped. Small things such as...
