We were in Ayr for over a week and quickly found out that most places that allow dogs will not allow children and vice versa. So when we found that Glenpark Hotel had an area where both children and dogs were allowed and very welcomed.. The food was always very good and the service was excellent. They also have a...

We have great Sunday roast dinners regularly at the Glen park Hotel - but all the food is good and they now have a Pizza oven to add to the menu - Ayr brewing company is onsite as well with their award winning real ales to add to the enjoyment

Stayin in ayr overnight this pub was close to our hotel. We visited here for some drinks. What a nice friendly warm welcome. Great choice of drinks. Will definitely be back. Service also spot on. Hotel also allows dogs.

After driving past this place many times on Saturday, I made my first visit. On the back drop of the Airshow being on, monsoon rain and their own real ale festival, I expected it to be a bit of chore to experience the place. Well all things factored in I was more than pleasantly surprised. The staff easily coped with...

Stayed here for the first - and hopefully not the only - time a few Friday nights back. Plus points a plenty: tasty cooking throughout the day (the fried breakfast is impressive), very friendly and helpful management and staff, clean, comfy rooms (with decent shower pressure!), and a bar that has the atmosphere of a nice wee local. Its location...

We came for Sunday lunch and it was lovely. I had the salmon and everybody else had Roast beef. The Salmon was really well cooked but the chips were obviously frozen and let the meal down somewhat. Everything else was fine and it was a reasonable price.

What's not to like about a bar with it's own brewery. Even better when it produces beers as good as the award winning Ayr Brewery. The food is mainly typical pub fare, but it's well done, the portions are large and it's great value. The staff are friendly and this is obviously a well loved 'local'.

Very pleased to stumble across this pub with its own micro brewery. The real ale was exceptional. Friendly staff with superb knowledge of the product, guess the bar man doubles as the brewer. Can't fault it at all. If you enjoy real ale you have to visit this place.

This hotel has its own micro brewery! The real ales are excellent. There is also an extensive range of malt whiskies and the food is good and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and helpful with a cheery welcome given on arrival. I do not know what the hotel accomodation is like as they were fully booked and I could not...

Lunch stop off for a taster of the Ayr Brewing Company ales. There were three available and we tried the Leezielundy pale ale and the Jolly Beggars amber ale both of which were tasty. The food was inexpensive but good quality and all home made. A little gem. Will return.
