Visited here with our dog. Dogs are welcome at a charge of £10 per night. Hotel is fine, rooms are fine if not a bit dated. Blair Atholl is handy for a trip to Pitlochry, only 7 miles away, good for a long walk. We ate in the Snug bar of the hotel as dogs are only allowed in there,...

I was treated to an overnight break with sparkling afternoon tea by my wife, and must say we absolutely loved the hotel, pub and the staff were fantastic! It was our first ever visit to Blair Atholl, but it won't be our last. Sparkling afternoon tea served by the open fire was the start of a lovely stay; the room...

We visited the hotel for dinner on a Monday and found the service and food were fine although the menu has not changed in nearly 3 years. On the Wednesday we visited again for drinks and the bill for the drinks for the two of us was a pound dearer than on the Monday for the same drinks. I queried...

The hotel is in a beautiful part of the world and the staff are lovely but the rooms were very tired and in need of a great deal of modernisation. Quite expensive given how the rooms were. A shame because it's picture perfect from the outside.

We where here in February and where a party of 12 including children , first impressions...

A reasonable hotel with rooms in need of decoration. The staff were friendly and efficient and the afternoon tea with Proseco was very good. The bar supper choice was excellent. The room on the 3rd floor had a sloping ceiling to bang your head on and also a sloping floor which meant the barely comfortable bed sloped as well. The...

I read the reviews prior to arrival and was quite excited. My initial thoughts on parking outside was that it looked run down. The reception area is warm and clean, as is all of the hotel, however, personally, i found it very dated, and in need of investement in some areas. The staff and the service was faultless. For me...

We visited with friends in March 2017. As usual it never disappoints. Cosy hotel with log fires and the rooms are warm. Had a lovely afternoon tea and a meal in the Bothy Bar. Both were lovely. Lovely cooked breakfast the next day. The staff are lovely and friendly and can't do enough for you. Our friends were very impressed...

I booked this hotel as it was pet friendly. I booked a twin room and stated I would be bringing 2 dogs with me. When we arrived at hotel it was at this point they told me only 1 dog per room. This should have been made clear to me at time of booking as I wouldn't have booked this...
