2 night stay at East Haugh in the "East Haugh" room complete wth open log fire, jacuzzi, leather armchairs in this comfortable and spacious room. Nice touch with the coconut covered sweets on the coffee/tea tray (adequately supplied). The room has beautiful views across the hills, despite the A9 being about 150m away (no traffic noise). First night dinner -...

Visited for dinner early evening. Cosy bar for drinks while we waited- real wood burner. Ate in the conservatory/sun room extension which is elegant but not at all stuffy. Staff friendly and efficient. Good menu of locally sourced ingredients and veg with all the kid's options - top marks ! Portion size for the mains ideal but desserts a bit...

Thanks for taking the time to review chrissy. We are delighted you were made to feel welcome from the start! We do have different specifications of rooms, and a small number of these have lower ceilings, but we are more happy to make any changes we can to accomodate taller guests. We hope to see you again soon.

My wife and I stayed overnight here. The room had a wonderful old world charm and was very comfortable. The Jacuzzi bath was luxury. We ate dinner here and opted to be served in the bar area. The service was excellent and the food even better. The problem was really to make a choice from a varied menu. Highly recommend...

Hi David, thank you very much for the kind comments on our food, service and hotel! The chocolate mousse with boozy cherries went down a treat, however this was on our specials menu and therefore did not last long! Let us know if you plan on returning and we will make provisions... Thanks again

Came here as a special birthday treat from my lovely partner. Got a lovely four poster bed and a jacuzzi bath in our room which was so luxurious. Even better than this was dinner. I knew beforehand it was Michelin recommended so would be good, but I've been to Michelin recommended retaurants before...this was so ooooh much better. We were...

We stayed in the lodge. Myself and my wife and two children. It was a great little house. We had pre dinner drinks in the bar and a lovely supper with puddings brought back to the lodge. The bar and waiting staff were very friendly and nothing was any trouble to them. We had breakfast at the hotel and it...

This hotel was quite handy for our enchanting forest trip and a very short drive from Pitlochry. While our room was in the small side, it was comfy and quiet. We had a very nice dinner and loved chating to the staff.

My boyfriend and I made a last minute reservation to stay here last week whilst passing through Pitlochry. The hotel is absolutely brilliant. After quickly...

It was our first visit to the East Haugh, on arrival I was impressed with the presentation of the whole place and there has clearly been a lot of effort on the aesthetics. East Haugh House is a 4 star luxury boutique hotel based in Pitlochry, Perthshire just 1 hour from Edinburgh and 2 hours from Glasgow. Built originally as part of the Atholl Estate some 350 years ago, this family run hotel is a beautiful, turreted stone house situated off the old A9 road with beautiful woodland walks and easy access to Pitlochry. With 12 individually designed bedrooms, including three deluxe four-poster rooms (one with its own fireplace) and whirlpool bathrooms, along with a private Victorian Gate Lodge, East Haugh House is hailed as one of Scotland’s “hidden gems” with the “best food in the area”. We have a bar and a restaurant where our extensive a la carte menu is served. Be it for romance, culinary indulgence, fishing, shooting, hunting, golf, a wedding to truly remember or simply to escape the stresses of everyday life, use our access to the estates and rivers of Perthshire for a unique getaway in the Scottish highlands. We have access to some of the very best fishing on the river Tay and river Tummel and can book salmon fishing days enabling you to (hopefully!) catch that fish of a lifetime! ... more   less
