We stayed at the Fisher's hotel for a belated valentine's getaway with the Itison voucher. The voucher entitled us to one night with breakfast, a three course meal each and a bottle of prosecco. The staff at the hotel were not overly friendly but they weren't rude. We didn't feel like they were going over and above to make us...

From the minute we arrived at the Fishers Hotel, till we left, we had a lovely experience. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The chap at reception was so nice and friendly. The room was cosy, the meals were well presented. Will definitely be back and would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Stayed here for 2 nights, lovely hotel, clean warm rooms, excellent food and service, really friendly staff. Lots to do and places to see, there are some beautiful walkways to explore and a mixture of shops to suit everyone.

Well situated period hotel offering spacious quality rooms. Free dram on arrival was nice surprise. Friendly staff and good breakfasts. Not enough parking locally though and this was a problem for us each time we returned to the hotel after a trip. Very nice place and would go back. :-)

Hotel was nice and staff were all very nice and helpful. BUT..... dinner was a different story, the menu is sparse and after reading I realised there was not much I liked. I asked the waiter to bring me chicken with no haggis or any coffee/orange sauce. When dinner arrived on the plate there was some roasted potatoes, a few...
