We stayed in the hotel for the one night as we were attending a concert at the excellent local concert hall. Our room was very spacious with a nice en suite bathroom, which overlooked a small alleyway to the side of the hotel. The double bed was very comfortable and ensured a good nights sleep. The breakfast menu was excellent,...

We just had a 2 nights stay and received an upgrade to the Chinese suite which was a total surprise and a fantastic experience. The service was very friendly and the staff were very attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return. Traditional, great breakfast and very personal. Most enjoyable.

Stayed in this hotel as travelling for work and it was clean and the staff were very friendly. I wouldn't choose to stay again though as for the price paid I have never stayed in such a tiny room ever! It was so small.

I stayed here on a business trip and it made a pleasant change from run of the mill chain hotels. Very traditional and old fashioned, if this is your thing then you'll love it. The bed wasn't very comfortable but other than that it was a great place and I'll be back.

Stayed here a few times and always had a good experience. Comfortable, well appointed bedrooms - ask for one overlooking the River Tay, the view is fabulous. Only ever eaten breakfast here but it's first class. Service in the bar can be a bit slow but that's a minor gripe. Overall, best place I've found to stay in Perth.

Visited with friends to have lunch; requested a window table so we could enjoy the views out over the River Tay. Good selection from either the daily menu or menu of the day; we all opted for something different and were not disappointed. We have visited the hotel on many occasions either for lunch or high tea and always book...

The Royal George is a friendly traditional hotel in the heart of the City of Perth on the banks of the River Tay. The rooms are fairly modern but in mine the bathroom was in urgent need of modernisation - broken tiles etc. The food throughout the stay was excellent and the service good. I would certainly come back and...

The Hotel has very much the feel of an old country Hotel but in the middle of Perth.Room was large and had great views over the River Tay- very comfortable with all you need and had a great nights sleep! Nice Bar...
