We have been traveling for 2 weeks and staying at different hotels most of the time. It was located in the same parking lot as the train station, so it was very easy to find. We had to park around the back of the hotel but there was an entrance there so it was ok. The hotel was big (comparing...

I think that the dinner here is very under rated - my girlfriend and I had a nice meal after studying all day and it was amazing! The price set for the meal was perfect. Ot wasn't too expensive and affordable!! The sea bass and the chicken hit the spot! On top of that the sticky toffee pudding was amazing!...

Location was perfect - 30 second walk from the station. The hotel itself was a little rundown but really not bad at all. I was surprised at the size of the room and the attention to detail. When you book most budget hotels you get nothing but here you still got a big room and big bathroom, shower gels etc...

We stayed there for 2 nights in June. We paid £224 for two nights and we got a small smelly bed room with a window view on... a wall... No breakfast included for that price. The drinks in the bar are extortionate, a beer and a small wine for over £10... avoid at all cost. It may look good for...

Told that hotel bar open until 03.00 am, turn up at 01.00 am looking forward to a couple of drinks only to find that the bar is closed because they have a 'conference' on the morning. Screw the individual paying guests you are worth nothing! Pa, i wont be back.

A funny old hotel that looks like it's in the middle of slowly being refurbished - it needs it! Some amusing Faulty Towers moments in here and some of the decor and fit and finish needs some serious makeover - but for the money and convenience right next to the station it's not too bad. Once it's all refurbished I'm...

When I saw this hotel on Booking.com, it looked a lovely old stately building which had been transformed into a hotel, and I wanted to stay in one of these types of buildings while in Scotland. However, on arrival it was not what I was expected. Reception staff were not particularly friendly, quite aloof. When we checked in, they said...

I stayed in this hotel for three nights for business reasons, and would not do so again The décor of the hotel is tired and shabby eg frayed carpets, faded/uneven paintwork and crumbling windowsills, which is a shame as the hotel was obviously once very grand but has been left to deteriorate to a very sad state. My room was...

Enjoyed our short stay here. Lovely breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Room comfortable but could do with some modernisation and a chair to sit on. Overall, pleasant stay and would return. Room nice and cosy. Quiet room. Didn't hear much noise at all. Close to Bus and Rail Station.
