What a find ! I had to travel a short notice to the Isle of Arran on business and booked into this B&B for two nights. The room was huge and decorated to 4 star hotel standards. James my host, actually drove me to a restaurant on my first night, and then booked my restaurant for the second night. The...

This is how a b&b should be run! James truly went above and beyond what is expected of a b&b owner. We felt extremely welcome and comfortable during our stay (even small gestures such as offering that we call anytime during our stay for advice on places to eat e.t.c. was very much appreciated). the location is beautiful, our room...

Spent two nights here recently on a bit of a trip down memory lane for my mum and I and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better place. We were upgraded (thank you Diana) to the Arran Suite and it was beautiful - better than I've experienced in some so called 5 star hotels. They've obviously put a lot...

This is the second time I have stayed at Braidmead House and the welcome and experience was every bit as good as the first time. Di, her husband Jim, and Alison, who served breakfast, are lovely, friendly people who make you feel very welcome from the minute you walk in the front door. Chatting to Di is like talking to...

This time we had a lovely room on the ground floor, double and...

Braidmead House is located in a very nice part of town and there is plenty of parking in front. Diana made us feel very welcome and showed us to our room which was spotlessly clean as was the ensuite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. There is also a sunny lounge in which you can sit and read your book or...

The rooms are very spacious and plenty of parking. High level of finish and some of the biggest rooms we've stayed in. Whilst we stayed noise was an issue - there were some workmen staying and other residents - not the fault of the property of course but did affect our stay. Breakfast was plentiful however not the best I've...

Braidmead House is beautifully and tastefully decorated with furnishing to match. Our room and on - suite were large and we had to remind ourselves that we were in fact in a B and B. We received a lovely warm welcome so the Braidmead was everything we could of wished for. Breakfasts were delicious and catered for a wide variety...
