Our reason for staying in Elgin was to attend the Highland games at Gordon Castle and to explore the area, and this was a good choice for three nights. A very nice room in a spacious and airy house with the perfect full Scottish breakfast. Late arrivals did disturb one evening, but otherwise everything was fine. An enjoyable stay.

This was our first stay at the Pines and we were not disappointed.the place was clean and tidy. Good sized rooms and the breakfast was first class. As regular visitors to elgin. The Pines will be our first choice from now on. And only 5 minute walk to centre of town.

I do not want anyone else to find out about this Gem of a guest house. The victorian feel high ceiling rooms give a very airy and grand feel to the house. The bathroom was spotless and the room was imaculate, very homely and tastefully done. The bed was a dream to sleep in and because of this I will...

This bed and breakfast is clean, superbly comfortable with good food and a friendly host. I have stayed here twice now and each time had an excellent experience. Although the house is on a main road it is set back (good parking in the grounds) and we were not aware of the traffic. The rooms are generous sizes and the beds...

The house is beautiful, the hosts and staff were friendly. our room was spotless big, bright & airy. We had a king size 4 poster bed it was beautiful. Breakfast was lovely and even had a vegetarian option for myself. We have stayed here twice and will return again.

Very cosy B&B in Elgin, easy access from main road, owner is friendly. Rooms are nicely furnished, very nice beds and very clean. Good coffe, tea, chocolate and bisquits upon arrival will make your day/evening- especially after all day long drive. I have stayed there several times, always 1 night only and it was always a quiet good night sleep....

What a disappointing welcome. I got 'a telling of' as soon as I entered the guest house for ringing the bell conveniently placed at the table on entry (It might be helpful to remove it if you don't want it used). When no-one appeared I turned round and noticed a button that advised ring for attention which I did do....

We'd stayed at The Pines a couple of times before when the previous owners had it and enjoyed the stay. We were originally put in room 6 at the back of the house and this had some steps in the room, and all other rooms were occupied. Because of my wife's slight mobility problem, this was not the ideal option....

An old substantial Victorian house on the edge of Elgin, conveniently placed for access into the town. On the main road but set back enough to give a quiet nights sleep in an excellent bed. The only down side for us was not being able to get in until 5.30 pm

I have been coming to Elgin for work for the past 3 years and I stay at The Pines and I love coming here! The building is a beautiful old house with kitsch, plush furnishings. My favourite thing about The Pines are definitely the beds! I have stayed in most rooms and all the beds are insanely comfortable! The rooms...
