Room wasn't ready on time check in was at two PM, we arrived at three. When we did get in it was filthy. Hand prints on windows and surfaces, dirty unhoovered carpets, toothpaste on sinks, pubic hair on toilet and bath! Only one member of staff running the hotel covering reception and the bar resulting in long waits for simple...

Well one word AWFUL. If you are planning having an event there or just a drink then do NOT do it. The staff are terrible and have no idea what they are doing. They are extremely un professional, un helpful and certainly NO people skills. I had pre arranged Prosecco on arrival and was told they had none. Was offered...

I really cant fault the Mansefield Hotel. I eat here, I drink here & I even got married here. The staff are amazing & the food is worth every penny. No where else comparable in Elgin regardless of the occasion.

Nothing much to recommend here. Some staff helpful, but overall a real disappointment. Probably the most unfriendly hotel I have ever experienced. I even saw staff swearing at customers. So bad I was shocked.

We were booked into the hotel for a family wedding, we asked for a family room and ended up in their old honeymoon suite which was really nice. It had a four poster bed, big plasma TV, very well finished bathroom and because it's on a corner it has two windows looking out over the entrance to the conference centre...

Spent three nights here and what lovely, welcoming, knowledgeable staff. Spacious traditional rooms with well appointed modern bathrooms. Breakfast again traditional and ample with speedy , willing service by all in the restaurant. Mezzo Bistro - super food, nice ambience and nothing too much trouble for staff, sadly couldn't get a table for the Saturday night. Reception and bar staff...

Very nice and clean hotel. Located in an old building with a lot of corridors and stairs. Fresh and modern rooms and bathrooms. Good breakfast. Seems to be the prefered hotel for business travellers. Friendly and helpful staff.

We only stayed here for one night, before we moved into our new house, and was booked into a family room. We arrived with 2 grumpy tired boys ( we moved from Germany), and I was dreading it, as so often family rooms are the size of a shoebox, but I couldn't have been more wrong! It was beautiful, comfortable,...

Our group stayed at this hotel for business training . Immaculately clean, rooms spacious and modern . Executive rooms lovely, however having a baby grand piano in the room was rather bizarre and of no use . Cannot fault the food , fresh, made to order and the staff in the breakfast room were exceptionally helpful. My only criticism is...

Stayed in the originl part of the hotel, room was very large with a four poster bed, a little tired but very nice. Breakfast was very good food cooked to order. I would recomend dinner in the Mezzo bistro food was great(for a bistro) with excellent service. First stay at Elgin and would definetly return to this hotel
