As expected the premier inn room was very clean, with lovely bedding and the bed was super comfortable. Everything was as expected from the hotel. BUT the room had no air conditioning. It was a lovely sunny weekend in June. And the room was 26degrees. There was a fan in the bedroom but it didn’t make any difference overall, and the window didn’t open enough to improve the situation. Due to the head we didn’t slee very well. I can imagine in the winter it’s lovely but in the summer improvements are needed!

I visited for three nights to see my family. I had an issue with the door lock which wouldn't lock so I was moved to another room for one night and got a lovely room for the other two nights. Comfortable stay and friendly staff who helped to sort out the problem. Big thanks to Kirsty.

Worst hotel experience ever! Oh where to start. Check in was simple. All went downhill from there. Room was booked for 2 guests yet there were only towels for 1, the bed was very small and uncomfortable and moved when sat on, the shower pressure was very poor and there was a questionable stain on the chair. Then there was the restaurant. Oh dear. Was asked how I would like my steak cooked as part of a mixed grill. Asked for medium rare. What arrived was inedible. It was beyond well done and could have been used to resole a shoe! The rest of the mixed grill wasn’t much better. Half got left due to it being very dry and tasteless. Even the burger my wife ordered was so badly over cooked and inedible that she left half of it. I would not recommend either the hotel or “restaurant” to anyone. Very disappointing end to a trip we had looked forward to.

Comfortable room, quiet, good Covid measures in place and a great shower. Good breakfast available which is deal breaker for me on business trips - can't stand breakfast boxes. Will definitely use again.
