A typical Scottish hotel to be recommended. Relatively spacious, friendly and welcoming staff. My room overlooked the roundabout but relatively quiet even during the morning rush half hour. Lovely bar with a great range of whisky. Terrific Full Scottish breakfast. I will be back again next visit.

On booking through internet we arrived at hotel to a very warm friendly welcome by Norma, we were given the keys to our room so on arrival to the room which was at back of building on ground floor, on entering the room there was a funny aroma, like a room that was a previous smoking room, not strong but...

Good Choice for visiting family in Elgin - Homely and Friendly - Rooms not huge but was clean and well presented. Took my nephew and dad for High Tea which was traditional cooking and to be recommended for value. Breakfast freshly cooked which is nice to see

The hotel is lovely...all staff friendly and helpful and eager to please. My room had the best bath that I had ever been in... deep, long and amazing. Food was beautiful...especially the high tea. Breakfast huge and tasty. Over 100 different whiskeys in the bar. Very tidy beer garden. Nice and central for shopping. can't say enough about the lovely...

The rooms in this hotel vary widely in finish and facilities. We booked three rooms. #47 was recently re-furnished and pleasant. It had a standalone shower and separate bath. It looked similar to the photos on the hotel's website. Others in our party were given #28 which was most disappointing. No facility to shower. Just a nozzle in the bath....

We stayed here for one night while attending the Fernando Ricksen tribute match in town. The staff were extremely helpful from the minute we arrived, even arranging our taxi to the football ground. The room wasn't the biggest but it was perfectly adequate for our needs. The breakfast was excellent, cold buffet, followed by hot full Scottish.. I consider it...

I paid over £100 per night for a 3 night stay at this hotel. I had the smallest en-suite I have ever seen - no bath, sliding door, cloakroom sized sink. Adequate but not worth the money. No bedside light, no curtains (just Roman blind) and 10 spotlights in the ceiling. I had asked for a quiet room and they...

10 min walk into the centre of Elgin, (nothing much there). Hotel situated opposite Asda and Lidl on a busy road. The rooms were tiny - bathroom was ridiculously small. However, the staff were friendly and helpful, the bar was lively and breakfast great. I would say this hotel is more suitable for business travellers than holiday makers.
