Went there for a family meal and they were able to provide a great vegan menu, my brother and I had to let them know our choices 48 hours in advance so they could prepare. We just let them know over facebook which was very simple and efficient. Overall it was a great experience, would definitely go again.

I visited with my family for a Taekwondo competition. We had the large family room with a king size bed and 2 single beds. Room was absolutely huge with an amazing bathroom. Slept like a log!!!!! Breakfast top class and staff couldn't have been any better. Best experience of staying in a hotel we've ever had. My kids keep raving...

Spent one night only, arrived late evening, staff very helpful and room a wee bit of a climb Room 19, but worth the climb due to hotel being fully booked ended up in family room. Faces main Inverness to Aberdeen Road but was greeted with a quiet and restful sleep. Decided to have a bar meal which had the same...

I have stayed at this hotel twice recently for a total of 7 nights. 5 nights in the main building and 2 in the annex. This hotel has lots of beautiful architectural features given that it was built in the 1800's and is impressive when entering the building. The split stairway is just as impressive. Although I travelled by train...

We visited The Royal Hotel for a family meal celebrating my sisters 40th Birthday. A party of 12 and of mixed ages. Can I say a huge thanks to Alan, Ann Marie and Tracy for everything. The level of service and the food was second to none, fantastic. They let us decorate our table and drop off a birthday cake....

Yet another amazing experience at this hotel restaurant. Went in tonight for a birthday meal for my husband, we have visited regularly ourselves but this time we brought the worst critics (the children.) Straight away we were made feel welcome by the waitress who was lady so pleasant and friendly, my son who is autistic and likes to ask multiple...

Once again, the Royal keeps up the high standards. I have stayed at the Royal at least 4 days once a year for the past 12 years for work sometimes twice a year. Each time the hospitality has been outstanding. Food and service is great. Now it is under new ownership, I can only hope the standards remain the same.

Attended a meal here in the aftermath of a family funeral with family members as a last minute booking. Very accommodating, welcoming and polite to all of us and nothing was a problem. Due to diet requirements I was able to substitute items in my meal with no problem. Service was quick and efficient would definitely recommend.

I needed a ground floor room as i could not handle stairs and the Royal was suggested to me. I was welcomed warmly and directed to the fabulous annex and given a huge room with ensuite. I parked just outside so it meant that I was able to just roll my suitcase into the room. A very friendly place which...
