This is a smashing small family run hotel. Very warm people. Near rooms with lovely touches. An excellent position overlooking the water. And magnificent, magnificent food that stands comparison to any swanky restaurant anywhere in the world. It's that good.

We recently spent two nights at the Sunny Brae, and it was a wonderful experience. This is a family-owned hotel, and we felt like we were part of the family as well. We had an ocean-view room -- very bright and airy. It was probably the cleanest hotel room I have ever seen. There also is a screened-in porch for...

I had a very enjoyable stay at this small hotel which overlooks a green and the sea and beach beyond. The room and bed were comfortable and the hotel was very clean and well run. My hosts were very friendly and helpful as were the dinning room servers. There is a nice lounge where drinks are served. A very enjoyable...

I am not sure why this hotel does not get a 5 star rating because during our 2 day stay everything was perfect. I can only think it may be because it does not have a lift. We had a double sea view room (upstairs room 6) and my mother was in room 1 on the ground floor also with...

Sunny Brae wasn't our original destination but as our Inverness accommodation fell through the Inverness visitor centre were kind enough to spend time finding us alternative rooms. Apologising that Nairn was further out, they booked it for us and it had to have been one of the highlights of our Scotland road trip. Just driving along the front road of...

This lovely cosy boutique hotel is truly a gem! We stayed two nights but could have stayed longer. The hosts are operating this place to such a high standard we were very impressed. The dining here was wonderful! The quality of some of the best restaurants we have eaten in. The view from the conservatory overlooking the beach is so...

We visited with daughter, son in law and 6 month old and were so warmly welcomed it was like returning to a family. As always the rooms were spotless and comfortable and the food superb. John and Rachel were so helpful with the baby - even providing little plastic dishes for baby's dinner. We had a lovely relaxed time and...

As a small group tour operator we stay in serviced accommodation around 240 nights of the year.
