We are a friendly family hotel and bar, run by local man Chris Reid. We have 5 Bedrooms, all en-suite, offering full Highland breakfast (at any time of the morning for early risers!). We offer a well stocked cosy bar serving good quality food at very competitive prices, popular steak nights every Friday and Saturday are a must try. Ideal location surrounded by a host of top-class golf courses including Castle Stuart Golf Links where Phil Mickelson won the 2013 Scottish Open. Not forgetting two championship courses in Nairn itself. A perfect base from which to explore all that Nairn and the North of Scotland has to offer We have a vast car park at the front of the hotel and we are only 10 minutes from Inverness Airport, two minutes from Nairn train station and have a bus stop at our front gate (A96 Main Route).

Encouraged by other reviews we went here for lunch. Had beef then sticky toffee desert. The food was excellent as was the friendly service. However - we were surprised to see staff were not wearing masks despite a quite busy bar area. Where we come from, all serving staff are masked up at the moment. So only a three on this overall score basis. Felt a bit nervous as the dining room too started to fill up so despite the great food prob won’t return.

We had to cut our stay short due to ill health but really enjoyed our time there. Food was great and very good value. Bar was comfy and welcoming and the Owner was fantastic and understanding of our circumstances. Will definitely be back to enjoy his hospitality another time.

Attenative and caring Staff, spacious,spotlessly clean and quiet rooms. Good quality bedding gives a luxurious feel. Breakfast of Champions, you certainly won't need to eat until late afternoon after eating the Full Highland! Lovely beer garden great for kids as the grounds are private and secluded. Ample private parking and location is great only 5min walk into Town Centre. Would highly recommend 5⭐

Stayed one night here. Lovely old style hotel. Friendly and efficient staff. Clean comfortable and spacious room with decent size bathroom. Well equipped with hairdryer, ironing board etc. Had beautiful evening meal in the bar. The steak was excellent. Old style pub feel, with cosy friendly atmosphere. Generous portion breakfast, everything piping hot. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at the Westerlea hotel, all the staff are really smiley, friendly and helpful, the food was amazing. Not far from the train station. There is plenty of room for parking at the hotel. Definitely visit again.
