My family stayed for a 4 day break on the second week of the school October holidays. Unfortunately the weather was not kind during the most of our stay so did not get a lot of chances to explore the park properly. The park has a pool, arcade and shop. There is a harbour nearby and a beach. My cabin was very clean when we arrived and comfortable. It was a stones throw from the beach. Bed sheets were in place and clean. We were provided extra sheets. The only negative we encountered in the cabin was the drain cover for the kitchen sink. It did not fit the drain and made cleaning dishes a little complicated.
We were both delighted by the caravan we had. It was as well as spacious, very clean and spotless. Definitely coming back next year. Had all the amenities and definitely opened our eyes especially as the weather and also due to the current climate with the covid virus going around, you need something to give yourself a pick me up.
Just got back from a week away and we all had a fantastic time. We stayed in a caravan which was immaculate. The location is absolutely stunning and although the weather was cold we enjoyed lots of time on the beach and parks, not just onsite but in the local area. We used the restaurant, arcade, shop and pool several times and the staff throughout the park were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The best part of the holiday was the kids activities. There was plenty to do during the day for all 3 of our children, aged 5, 9 and 11. Billy and Connor, the entertainment staff were totally amazing and make such a great team. They made sure all the children were included in all activities. Our 9 year old is autistic and doesn't usually interact with strangers, but they personalised their approach to ensure he was included and it was lovely to see him engage with them. I can't recommend this place enough to those with children. We can't wait to go back next year…
We stayed here for a night in a motorhome. When we arrived someone came out to greet us so it was a contact less check in. We had a good spot with easy access to the beach. The toilets were very clean and super cosy. We ordered takeaway food from the onsite restaurant and it was really good! Staff were super friendly also. If you can, get up early for the sunrise and you'll get some fab photos on the beach. Overall a lovely stay and we will definitely stay again.
We visited Nairn Lochloy for a short 4 night break over October half term. We arrived an hour or so before check in time and our caravan wasn't yet ready but the lovely reception team were on hand to keep us inform. We walked around the area for a while and returned to our car and the reception team came over and informed us that our caravan was now ready. We'd already taken the decision to wipe everything down with anti bac wipes on entry to be in the safe side but we needed have bothered, the caravan was immaculate. We were in caravan 46, a small 2 bedroom 6 berth van, close to the parks amenities. We popped to the shop for those chilled essentials that wouldn't have survived our trip and it was Well stocked with milk, bread etc. we didn't use much of the park amenities except the shop, the amusements and a takeaway from Speldings. Very easy to order through the app, select a time and turn up to collect, it was ready when I asked for and great portion sizes and delicious. The amusements area, although small is set out with a one way system and is well equipped. My only complaint was that the change machine ran out of 10ps on Thursday but that's not any major fault. The beach is a short walk away with pathways leading down to it from the caravan areas. Its a large, clean picturesque beach and lovely to walk on. All in all, we had a lovely break at Nairn Lochloy. Its a lovely park in a lovely location. The town is a short 5 minute walk away with bakeries and takeaways.…
