I have stayed here on a few occasions and been to the restaurant for lunch and dinner and it has been outstanding on every occasion. Yes, it is pricey, but you get what you pay for, absolutely. In fact, the food is excellent value for money - more so than a lot of cheaper places in Moray. The staff have...

Any hotel which provides a 'welcoming' letter in its bedrooms which basically threatens you if you dare to smuggle in your own food or restaurant, has a lot to learn about customer service. If you are interested, you must declare if you open your own bottle in your room and will then be charged a £15 corkage! I'm not sure...

We had a lovely 2 nights here midweek. The room (1) was large with excellent amount of cupboard & wardrobe space. It was nicely decorated but in keeping with the house. The bathroom was large too with yummy Molton Brown products to use during your stay. Complimentary tea & coffee & homemade (delicious!) biscuits. The house itself was stunning with...

Great place to stay while touring Speyside and distilleries. The food was excellent, and the grounds gorgeous. Service was also very good. With an old house that has been renovated as a hotel, some of the rooms are quirky, but still very nice. Rooms at the back with views of the pond were beautiful.

We spent the night here for out 1 year anniversary and it was fantastic, we stayed in the orangery so that our dog could join us. The hotel is dog friendly although understandably not in the dining room. First things first this is a family run boutique hotel with a dining room and drawing rooms rather than a restaurant, this...

We have not had a meal this delicious in a long time! Incredible house with well appointed toilets and lounges, a great stock of Scotch Whiskey, and wonderful gardens. We didn't stay in the hotel, just dropped by for supper. If you do the same, make time to tour the grounds beforehand.

We have been to the Boath House before and felt really let down on this occasion. We had decided to go with several friends for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday and the birth of our little boy. While the food was of a good standard the customer service throughout the afternoon was very poor. Firsty - We asked for...

This was our first time, but my mother's second time visiting the Boath House. A Michelin rated restaurant, the food menu was outstanding. They were even able to accomodate a party member who didn't care for the salmon appetizer and produced a bowl of butternut squash soup instead (yum!). Both breakfasts and dinners were outstanding! The Roe Deer was perfectly...

Celebrated our engagement at the Boath House. We came from Aberdeen for the lunch time menu. Not too far to go for such quality. Amazing food, and at an astonishingly reasonable price for a Michelin star restaurant. The homemade bread was a personal favorite. We had our concerns over portion size, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The quantity of...
