I hate leaving bad reviews, and try to see the good in everything. I failed to follow my own advice and check the reviews here first. Let's just say the bad ones are justified. I looks okay from the outside and it's a quiet location but that's where it ends. The beds are rock hard and my ailing Mother in... More

The Covenanters Inn is a pub with accommodation. Although fairly well furnished the colour scheme did it no favours as the effect was to make it seem more like an old style hostel. We had a decent sized room and the bathroom was a wet room with disability fittings. We had to wait a long time for our evening meal,... More

Booked this at the last minute, for a business trip. The overall hotel was very poor and grubby. The only thing that had recently had work completed was the bathroom in the bedroom. The carpet was grubby, in the conservatory it was alive with ants. The seats in the bar were also very grubby. Food was reasonable on the Monday... More

The Covenanters Inn in Auldearn by Nairn has a lovely comfortable restaurant. I used this as a venue for my daughter's 18th birthday party. Right from the start Rob was very helpful. Prior to the meal he allowed us to decorate the restaurant with balloons, table decorations and banners which gave it that extra special ambiance. He also allowed us... More

I cannot recommend this B&B as it was poor value for money. Cramped room, uncomfortable bed, dodgy shower, no toiletries and no wifi in the room. And no where near anything. The only positive was breakfast which was good and the person serving was cheery and helpful.

Spent one night here after enjoying an afternoon at the Forres Highland Games. The hotel wasn't too far from Forres, and the room was small but comfortable. The bar was well stocked, the locals friendly, and the food (served in the bar area) was pretty good. Breakfast was a little sparse, but ok. No major complaints.

Not actual in Nairn, but in the village of Auldearn about 2 miles outside Nairn and 1 mile off the A96 Inverness to Aberdeen road. We were greeted with a warm welcome by Tonya who is a real asset for any hotel to have. Warm and bubbly throughout the two day stay she worked in reception, in the bar, and... More

Last stayed here two years ago, still the same. Cheap and cheerful. Lots of car park space, small room, thin walls, squeaky bed. Excellent breakfast especially the kippers. Half the price of a quality hotel - ideal for anyone on a budget, but don't expect luxury, just fair value for money.

Firstly the staff were all sat outside drinking. Then i was put in a disabled room which was freezing because all the windows were left open. The bathroom light was full of bugs. Theres no wifi and no signal. Theres no excuse for wifi signal these days its cheap enough to buy a wifi extender. The bed was rock hard... More
