In September of 2015, 5 of us began our Highland visit at Cawdor House. It was a highlight of our trip. We still talk about how much we enjoyed our time their. We still eat our morning oatmeal they way it is served there. Our host was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, which helped to fill in...

Just spent two nights at Cawdor House with my husband and a friend. We would normally stay at our daughters when visiting Nairn but decided to treat ourselves this time to a B&B . Lovely welcome from both Anika & Andy. Our room ( although not huge) was spotlessly clean with lovely bedding. The bathroom had complimentary shower /shampoo and...

Wonderful hosts, wonderful food, beautiful, enormous rooms. Andy and Anika, who have only been in the house for 3 months, really took our visit to another level. They are charming, chatty and ready to give advice on any daytrips you may want to make. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable.

Visited with my wife for our anniversary. We had a nice bright room, with new windows, and a modern bathroom with good toiletries. Attentive service and excellent tasty breakfasts. The Classroom bistro 50 metres away served excellent meals in the evening.

My mum stayed in the garden room while visiting family in Nairn. The room was beautifully furnished, very clean and bright. Anika and Andreas (Andy) were genuinely welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. My mum felt very comfortable staying there. The location is fantastic, less than 5 mins walk from the train station and close to...

Lovely young couple who had just taken over the B&B. We were warmly welcomed and encouraged to share any problems during our stay. Lovely Victorian house with guest lounge and comfortable en-suite room. Owners Anika and Andreas (Andy) could not be more welcoming. Great breakfasts with lovely touches e.g. marmalade & jam doesn't come in the usual plastic, foil-lidded containers - instead you spoon the preserves from jars into little ceramic pots. Andy is a recognised fine art photographer and his work will...
