Spent two nights here and the main attraction in booking was how convenient it was in allowing us to walk into Nairn and enjoy our evenings. This certainly proved to be the case but, almost as a bonus, it is run by a lovely couple with experience in the catering and hospitality industry and so it is run to their...

We booked the family room which actually comprises 2 bedrooms and a bathroom in it's own little suite which has a separate lockable entrance. Travelling with a thirteen year daughter, this was a godsend! We were booking at very short notice and managed to book for the wrong date (meant to book for the 2nd and actually booked for the...

We stayed at the Cawdor House Hotel for a couple of nights during a visit home over Hogmanay and we had a wonderful time. Anita and Andreas are the perfect hosts and they looked after us well and made us feel very welcome. Many thanks for a wonderful stay and we will be back.

We stayed at Cawdor House for two nights during a whirlwind tour of Scotland. Andy and Anika could not have been better hosts! Our room, the garden, was just outside the main house. It was spacious, cozy and warm on some pretty cool nights. After leaving a very loud hotel in Edinburgh, we were very pleased to have a quiet...

This 8 room B&B in Nairn was a great find. The owners are hosts Anika and Andy. Anika was until February 2016 general manager for a large hotel in Munich whilst her husband Andy is a professional photographer. Well worth a visit if you are visiting that part of Scotland.

In September of 2015, 5 of us began our Highland visit at Cawdor House. It was a highlight of our trip. We still talk about how much we enjoyed our time their. We still eat our morning oatmeal they way it is served there. Our host was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, which helped to fill in...

Just spent two nights at Cawdor House with my husband and a friend. We would normally stay at our daughters when visiting Nairn but decided to treat ourselves this time to a B&B . Lovely welcome from both Anika & Andy. Our room ( although not huge) was spotlessly clean with lovely bedding. The bathroom had complimentary shower /shampoo and...

Wonderful hosts, wonderful food, beautiful, enormous rooms. Andy and Anika, who have only been in the house for 3 months, really took our visit to another level. They are charming, chatty and ready to give advice on any daytrips you may want to make. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable.

Visited with my wife for our anniversary. We had a nice bright room, with new windows, and a modern bathroom with good toiletries. Attentive service and excellent tasty breakfasts. The Classroom bistro 50 metres away served excellent meals in the evening.

My mum stayed in the garden room while visiting family in Nairn. The room was beautifully furnished, very clean and bright. Anika and Andreas (Andy) were genuinely welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. My mum felt very comfortable staying there. The location is fantastic, less than 5 mins walk from the train station and close to...
