With welcoming hosts and set in lovely countryside just outside Fortrose I enjoyed a couple of days in the B & B family room.
Fantastic host who really goes the extra mile to ensure we had a good night. Also provided good pointers on which places to visit as part of our NC500. Breakfast was fast and required before a long journey. Thanks...
I was very pleasantly surprised by the continental breakfast option which was presented as a plate of lots of different little choices which I thought was a lovely touch.
Just got back from a 2 night stay. All I can say is superb! Jess and Dougie are lovely, nothing is too much trouble. The room we stayed in was really lovely with a fab view of the estuary that leads to Loch Ness...
Having stayed last year at Seabank Lodge on a golfing break my wife and I decided to stay on this occasion at Duncrievie for a long weekend. Duncrievie is the home of Michael and Susan who own Seabank Lodge. Needless to say they brought the same standards of hospitality, a warm welcome and care of the details to hosting us in Duncrievie - absolutely wonderful. They couldn’t have done more for us. Beautiful large, well equipped en suite room overlooking the beach and Moray Firth. Excellent full Scottish breakfast and a wee dram of malt as a nightcap. Couldn’t be better.
We recently returned from a 10 day trip to Scotland. We spent 2 nights at Duncrievie and were more than pleased with the accommodations. The room was large & bright, with a beautiful sea view & comfortable bed. Michael & Susan were wonderful hosts. Michael was more than helpful making recommendations for day trips & sightseeing. The included breakfast was delicious, served in their lovely dining room overlooking Moray Firth. Duncrievie is close to Inverness, the Culloden Battlefield & other attractions making it a great base for exploring. Thank you for making us feel so at home! Sincerely, Ron & Linda H.
we spent one night on our travels in the Highlands. Many thanks to Michael & Susan for making us feel so welcome. Our room was very spacious with spectacular views of the Moray Firth. Really comfy bed. Breakfast was 2nd to none. If you want to stay somewhere where you are treated like a VIP surrounded by luxury with great views in an outstandingly beautiful house on the beach and right next to a golf course, you'd do well to find a better place than this anywhere in the UK. Michael..great poached eggs, let us know when you have built the par3 in your garden! Kind Regards Martin & Jackie
We had the good fortune to stay at Michael & Susan’s house in Nairn for a week and felt right from the very first warm welcome that we were staying with friends. The room was huge & airy and had three picture windows looking directly onto the Moray Firth and overlooking the Black Isle. The bed was so comfortable that I asked Susan where she purchased it from (John Lewis as it turned out) and we slept so well every night we were there. Fabulous choice of breakfast every day and nothing was ever too much trouble. Susan & Michael exuded so much warmth and asked us daily if there was anything else we needed or would like. Michael gave us recommendations for local restaurants as well as ones further afield and every recommendation we tried we thoroughly enjoyed and some we went back to a couple of times as they were so good. We felt really sad when it was time to go and could have happily stayed on. We plan to go back in the very near future to visit not only Nairn but Susan & Michael as they made us supremely relaxed and part of the family. Great hosts, great location and breakfasts and that comfy bed.…
