Treetops is a fantastic Bed & Breakfast just outside Fort William. It boasts spectacular views of the mountains and has everything you could want in a B&B. The hosts are charming, friendly and hospitable and make you truly welcome in their lovely home. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed, the furnishing are good quality and the facilities and en-suite were spotless and spacious. Nice selection on the tea tray, including fresh coffee and cafetiere and a small fridge with fresh milk and water. Breakfast was freshly cooked with a good selection of local produce and a varied menu selection. Lots of recommendations of places to go and where to eat which were very welcome. We went to the Ben Nevis Inn, what a fantastic setting, a converted barn right at the bottom of Ben Nevis, the food and service was excellent and I was particularly taken with their weather forecasting stone! Treetops has made every effort to make your stay as Covid safe as is humanly possible, so hats off to them for that, we felt very safe and welcome and really enjoyed our wee mini-break so thank you JJ & Jo, it was fab!

I must agree with all of the other glowing reviews on here, this is THE place to stay in Fort William. The location is absolutely stunning, it is like you are in a movie. There are plenty of windows to admire the view, plenty of space, and everything is clean and modern. Now, onto the most important touches (in my opinion). The hosts are truely what makes this place a wonderful spot to stay. They think about the small things (like a bottle of water waiting for you when you arrive chilled in the fridge in the room) that really elevates the experience. This was of course second fiddle to the real star of the show, which was the hosts themselves. John and Jo were not only pleasant to talk to, but were a riot! Speaking with them was easy, and it felt like we were old friends. It not only made the experience at the B&B better, but it elevated the whole trip we took because it made it feel like we had ties to the local community. Both of them are unbelievably kind, and both my fiance and I count ourselves lucky to have gotten this experience and to have made new friends! Thanks guys! -Devan Butz and Dominic Giglio-Tos

So when I review and rate a hotel or BnB I am always fair and explain what I think. I will try and break this review down as best I can so you all know how fantastic and gorgeous this BnB is and how amazing and attentive the hosts John and Jo are. So I have rated this accommodation 5 as ive never stayed anywhere that deserved it more. Location: You aren't in the centre of town but this was a god send. It is so peaceful and boasts fantastic views. Plenty of eating places close by and canals, locks, lochs and walks are right on the doorstep. Probably the best view of Ben Nevis and mountain range. We ate in the centre most nights but it would be too noisy. centre is about 3 minutes by car Room: We stayed in the Great Glen room and it was huge. The bed was a super king and soooooooo comfortable. Beautiful 5 star grade hotel white bed linen and comfy pillows. Bright light and tasteful with a fridge and fully stocked tea and coffee tray with a few cheeky biscuits. Milk was fresh and plentiful and the huge shower was stocked with hair and body wash. The terrace was massive and offered the best views of NEVIS. Night times we sat on the comfy chairs in front of the amazing smart LG TV In the room for film nights and felt exactly like home. Breakfast: John and Jo work hard as a team to ensure you have everything you want. The fantastic booking system ensures your breakfast is ready when you are. The breakfast bar has a selection of cereals and juices and jo is on hand to make sure you are fully stocked with toast and tea and coffee while serving Johns fantastically fresh and awesome quality breakfast. This breakfast is by far the best breakfast I have ever had. Value for money: The price for these rooms is very reasonable. For the price you are getting cleanliness, exceptional service, good quality and fresh products, great views and great decor and 2 hosts that really know how to run a fantastic BnB. Will I return to treetops. In a heartbeat. This place ended up feeling like home. Negatives: Not a single one. Thank you John and Jo for making my 40th birthday stay one I will never forget.

Stayed at Treetops for 3 nights in June. The website attracted us to this property and the reality was even better than we expected. John and Jo are great hosts, friendly, welcoming and provide some great information on the local area. Covid regulations were in operation and we always felt safe. Never in your face but always available if required. Our room (Great Glen) was extremely clean, plenty of storage and a very large comfortable bed with quality linen. Towels were a very nice quality. The drinks tray was well stocked and the milk and water provided in the fridge was a welcome inclusion. Perhaps the standout feature of the room is the lovely balcony and the spectacular view, the perfect place to enjoy a night time drink. Smart TV in room so all streaming services are available. I cannot praise the Scottish breakfast enough, quality products and always perfectly cooked. Scottish breakfast was too good so I didn't get to try the other items on the varied and tasty sounding menu. I would have no hesitation in recommending 'Treetops' and I would certainly make this my first choice of accommodation if I visit Fort William again. Do not hesitate, book with confidence, if you like the look then you will not be disappointed, in fact it will likely exceed your expectations.

We stayed for 2 nights in the early June 2021 and thoroughly enjoyed the place. A very comfortable, clean room, delicious breakfast and lovely, helpful hosts - who were always available with ideas of places to go, restaurants to visit and the best brand of Haggis to buy. Our room was Ben Nevis (very fitting as we went up the mountain on our second day - the B&B is conveniently located about 12 minutes away). The whole place was made reassuringly Covid-safe and it was obvious that the owners went to great lengths to make sure their guests have perfect time. Thank you, JJ and Jo.
