We spent 3 wonderful nights at Braeburn. Comfy rooms, great shower and a lovely breakfast. You could not ask for more accommodating host. It was honestly a pleasure to stay here. Our only comments for improvement is for greater reach of the wifi. We couldn’t get good coverage in our room. We’ll be back for more exploring soon!

Dear mgcampbell1101 Thank you very much for your kind words. You were lovely guests to host. The wifi 'problem' we are aware of. This winter we want to switch provider and that hopefully will give everyone a more stable reception. So when and if you come back you are online before you notice ;) Warm wishes, Irene and Ton

Great location, excellent view from the room over the mountains, with a bit of glimps of Ben Nevis and a picturesque view of the loch. Great food. Amazing advice from the B&B owners on the best locations to visit and things to do in the area and on the subsequent trip further north and Isle of Skye. Made us feel like visiting your amazing auntie and uncle. Definitely on the list of places to return to for a longer stay and many more places to explore in the vicinity! Thank you both again! We may have missed more than half the things without your recommendations!

Agree with everyone else that Ton & Irene were fabulous hosts. They would both do everything they can to help and advise for things to do. Personally we are a keep to ourselves couple and occasionally found it a little too much, but that is just our preference. The room was cleaned and freshened each day although parts of the building seems dated. Breakfast was great on the whole although maybe extra coffee and toast could have been offered, got to try Haggis for the first time! However, the last day there was a large group so our time choice was limited and I didn't get all that I ordered. All in all though, very nice and would recommend. Thank you.

Dear Andy D Thank you for taking time to write us this review. We took also time for this reply. We feel sorry you found us a little too much, it was not our intention to make you feel uncomfortable. We are interested in how our guests experience their stay in Bonnie Scotland and in our guesthouse. This can make us learn from our guests. Two and a half years ago we took over the B&B and we try to put our stamp on it bit by bit. The lockdown didn't make things easier for us and caused us a big loss of income. Therefore it was not possibe to upgrade everything we wanted to. Glad you enjoyed your breakfast and we don't understand why your mentioned your lack of coffee. One of us is always entering the breakfast room and ask if there is anything else of more we can get you. So if you just asked we would be more than happy to make you a fresh coffee or supply extra toast. Because the group was in we had to limited your time slots. May be you are aware of the Covid-19 regulations? We try our best to have so less people at the same time in our breakfast room. For your, for their and for our safety. And we are sorry to hear that you missed something on your plate. But again, just had asked for it. But thank you very much for recommend us after all. We do appreciate that. Kind regards, Irene and Ton

We had the most wonderful stay at the Braeburn. Ton and Irene are the most friendly and helpful hosts you can want. They made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room we stayed in was a good size with the most amazing view over the Loch and mountains. Waking up each morning to that view was breathtaking and inspiring and definitely perks you up for the day. The room had all the amenities including tv, tea/coffee making and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Our room was cleaned and tidied every day with fresh towels when needed. Breakfast is delicious and ample and Ton and Irene are always there to greet you and ask about your previous day and plans for the coming day. Ton spent a good amount of time helping us plan our first day as our wildlife cruise from Mallaig was cancelled. They are very friendly and accommodating. We had our laundry done there one day and Irene had even folded the clothes properly and it was ready for us in our room when we got back. Wonderful place, friendly hosts and amazing views. We are already thinking about booking for next year.
