My husband and I stayed 2 nights in this stunning guesthouse on the shores of Loch Linnhe, whilst in Fort William to enjoy an amazing trip on "The Jacobite" on 1 October 2014. All the staff whom we met were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Our second night was in a 'master bedroom' in the house next door which was...

The The Myrtle Bank has a well deserved 4 star Scottish rating. It is a classic beautifully restored stately home, 10 minute walk to downtown Fort William. It is situated above the main road with expansive manicured lawns with rose gardens beautiful view of the loch. The hotel has the main house as well as an annex in the smaller...

Our family stayed in the granny flat over the garage. Loads of space for everyone. To quote our son 'It was awesome!'. The people were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a full english breakfast (with hot chocolate for the kids) - delicious. Beds were fantastic. The parking is a bit tight if you are not used to English cars...

We stayed here for one night in late August on our way to Skye. We had a gorgeous room that Dora called the "master suite." Recently renovated, it was large with a sizable modern desk/vanity, a sitting area, a very comfortable bed, and a lovely modern ensuite. Large windows on two sides revealed a stunning view of the gardens and...

The place was stunning, we couldn't believe that this was our B&B. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, nothing to complain about. However, it's not the typical B&B you expect. The organisation (service and how breakfast is served) seems more like in a hotel, not as personal as you expect in a B&B. Don't get me wrong, the people were...

We stayed at this guest house for 3nights during our short trip in Fort William. The accommodation was superb, located 5mins walk from Fort William town centre. The staffs (Jean and Gail especially) were very friendly, always cheerful and helpful. Dora allocated a large family room on the ground floor with a fantastic view of the garden and the loch...

As far as I'm concerned, if you are visiting Fort William this is the place to stay. The main house is beautifully appointed and maintained ...........just look at the photos that I have attached. It is situated just beyond the main High Street of the town with a stunning view over Loch Linnhi. The rooms and en suites are stylish...

Its location, the amazing views over the lake, excellent breakfast, everybody’s friendliness, the comfort and cleanliness of its spacious bedrooms…I don’t know which one of this aspects would top a list I could continue. Although it was a short stay, we will never forget how right we were when choosing Myrtle Bank for our rest in Fort William. A short...

Stayed here with friends from Australia. Lovely little (or should I say big!) guest house on the shores of Loch Linnhe. Lovely, clean rooms with gorgeous views out onto the loch. Good breakfast too, and only a 5 minute walk into the town centre for food. I would really recommend the Grog and Gruel pub for food! I managed to...
