Stayed here after completing the West Highland Way and found it very adequate, although perhaps not as homely as the outside suggests. The service was fine but brisk and it definitely felt more like a hotel than a B&B - the hosts didn't spend much time welcoming and didn't show us to our room, although that may have been because... This facility is situated just across a scenic river and a majestic mountain. We checked into our room and the window looks out to this beautiful view! The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. This is an excellent B&B for those who wants to stay near the Fort William area.

On a recent visit to Ft William , I was booked into the Myrtle Bank Guesthouse by a friend. Rooms are traditionally decorated , spotless, comfortable and include small en suite bathrooms in most rooms....all for 25-40 UK pounds per night , including cooked breakfast! Overlooking Loch Linnhe , this B&B is perfectly positioned for walking into town for local... More

From the moment we knocked on the door and received a lovely warm welcome from the owner Dora, we felt at home away from home! The views were spectacular, the rooms were gorgeous, especially in the recently refurbished house that stands alone beside the b&B main building, which we stayed in on the second night. Clean, comfortable, wonderful décor &... More

Stayed here this year for the second time with a few friends. Excellent stay, specious rooms with really good bed. The breakfast is superb and the lady-owner very kind. A few rooms are situated with stunning views at Loch Linnhe. It's located 5 minutes of the town centre from Fort William.

We stayed two nights at Myrtle Bank Guest House in September. As we had a car accident during the day we arrived very late but Dora waited for us patiently and gave us a warm Scottish welcome. Our room was spacious with a real bathroom (not a simple wet cell) and was beautifully decorated. In the morning we could enjoy... More

This was one of the best and least expensive places we stayed in Scotland. It was the perfect location to stay if you plan to take the Jacobite Steam train ride. The B&B is only an easy 15-20 minute walk thru the downtown to get to the station. Walking eliminates the need to fight for a parking space at the... More

This is a large operation but it is very well run and in a good located. The rooms are a good size and are well equiped. It is also near an excellent restaurant for dinner - The Lime Tree. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had a ground floor room which was very convenient.

As we drove into Fort William in the fading light, Myrtle Bank Guesthouse stood out like a jewel with its ruby begonias and emerald grass. A warm welcome and into our comfortable room with a spectacular view of the loch and we quickly settled in. We've stayed in many places all over the world but this was I think the... More

Dora was so welcoming, remembered details from my enquiry email, made us feel instantly welcome and had ensured a main floor room as we had accessibility issues. Our room was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the view of the Loch was superb. Dora also had excellent advice about tickets for the Jacobite. I will definitely stay here again next...
