We stayed at this very pleasant hotel for 3 nights in a large, modern room at the back with a view of the green, leafy bank. Great stay with professional and friendly staff, very clean. A very happy atmosphere, interesting history about the family run hotel. Large and tasty Scottish breakfasts and good quality evening meals. A nice lounge area to have pre dinner drinks. Plenty of parking. Not one of the cheapest places to stay in the area, but we would certainly recommend and look forward to returning.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a nice room overlooking the loch. Our evening meal , although a limited menu, was delicious. (We had the daily special) breakfast was also very good. They also have a very nice lounge area overlooking the loch. Would happily recommend this hotel.

This relatively basic hotel is perfect in every way. The location is outstanding with amazing views. The lady hotel owner even encouraged us to swim in the Loch which a first and an experience too. We had 2 rooms as we are a family of 4. We (the 2 adults) had a very comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the Loch. The children's room was more dated and had absolutely no view. We pre-ordered dinner upon arriving at the hotel. At first glance, the menu appeared basic but actually was decent, good quality home cooking. We enjoyed it so much that we actually ate there again the following night. Breakfast was very good. A lovely choice and well cooked. There is absolutely nothing to find find fault with at this hotel except that the complimentary toiletries were not great so would advise bringing your own. All staff are really friendly and accommodating. A special thank you to Caroline who works in the restaurant. Super nice lady!
