In February this year I stayed here and wrote a critical review regarding the problems I had with the menu and my Lactose Intolerance. I am now extremely embarrassed as the manager subsequently telephoned me to apologise and to give me some extremely good advice about how to get what I want in the future at any hotel. I should...

This hotel was in a superb location, right in the middle of the town. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. However the decor of the hotel was dated and quite shabby in places and in need of some re-decoration. Availability of wifi was disappointing as you can only get it in the common areas and...

We stayed for a couple of nights in May as we were going on the Jacobite Steam Train. The staff were very helpful at check in and our room was nice and bed comfy. Breakfast was very good with lots of different hot and cold food available and as self service could have as much as you like. We have...

Only popped in for a pre night-sleeper pint but was most impressed by the staff all friendly and very helpful. The place is a big old Victorian type station hotel (just over the road) the food looks good and the rates the norm.

We arrived at 1.30pm but were not allowed to check in till after 2pm, so left the luggage in the car and headed off to town. When we asked about potential places to eat, we were told only about the hotels own restaurants. Our three bedded room was comfortable enough, and quiet. It was a pity that wifi was available...

Arriving and leaving by train, this hotel makes an excellent stopover, being just a few minutes walk from the station. A good atmosphere inside with groups of walkers, bikers tourists mixing. Nice lounges and free wi fi. Food fairly average but ok.

Only stayed one night. Room was clean and comfortable, with enough space. Staff were helpful, the lift tiny!. Breakfast was good, had kippers and poached eggs. The location was the big plus. In Fort William, minutes walking distance to centre. With its own car park and easy access. Would come back

We were booked on the 'Jacobite' steam train to Mallaig and decided that two nights in a hotel would add to the adventure. Got a good mid-week deal and booked on line; had to pay on arrival though. Lots of car parking, very close to the railway station and the town's facilities. A mid-week street market added to the scene...

I only stayed for one night. I really needed a lie in and unfortunately the chamber maids chatted loudly in the corridor very early in the morn. My fault I guess as I didn't put a do not disturb notice on door. And on floor 2 very bangy floor boards! Saying that they do a good job at cleaning the...
