We came here for dinner on our first night staying nearby. Food was exceptionaly average. My fiancés dinner was bland and all his vegetables overcooked and a bit grey, also my side salad arrived in a hot dish. The resturant seemed a bit confused about what it was, either pub grub or a fine dining restaurant. It's only redeeming feature...

Rooms were dated and hotel could do with refurb, reception staff friendly and welcoming. However they didn't advise about breakfast or check out times when i arrived. I was just handed the key and directed to the stair and lift. Location of hotel was central with a selection of shops, bars and restaurants and plenty of parking at the hotel...

Best location in the centre of Fort William. A few steps to the Railway station and the shops in the centre. Very helpfull and dedicated staff. Excellent meals (what a scottish breakfast!) and nice dinners with choices. The rooms aren't great, but they are OK.

Stayed here for a couple of nights to go on the Jacobite Express. Great situation as almost next to train station. Breakfasts were very good and the one evening meal we had here was very good - nicely presented. Staff all very friendly, but in general the hotel although clean is looking a little tired and dated. Could hear the...

I stayed here the first night of my 3 peaks challenge and was expecting the company we booked it through to put us in some cheap rubbish place but this was actually really enjoyable. The decor is a little dated, that is the only draw back. The rooms are cosy and have what you need, although the bathrooms are a...

This review is in my opinion only! Stayed here for one night B&B as we were visiting family. Reception staff were friendly and the check in was quick. The room we were given was on the 4th floor. The lift is very small and could only accommodate 4 people max. As soon as the lift door opened the smell of...

The Hotel is located very well, right within walking distance of town. Upon check-in the staff were very friendly and helpful at reception and made us feel welcome. The rooms are tired but very clean. The first night we decided to eat in the hotel, we asked at the bar if we could eat in there and were quite rudely...

Hotel in perfect location right at railway station, and edge of shopping centre.could do with a wee update in places. Rooms very clean and warm. Staff very friendly and breakfast loads to choose from. Entertainment more suited to elderly people but ok. Lots of nice areas to relax in view from room right across the loch

We were in Fort William for the day and were looking for somewhere to have lunch. We looked at a few pubs and restaurants, but nothing really appealed. We were passing the Alexandra Hotel and thought we would give it a try. The food was really good and affordable the service was really good. The restaurant was not busy but...
