We stayed at Campbell House, conveniently attached to Maclean. Pefect for 2 groups. Amazing scenery just outside the window, very high standard of accomodation and endless exploring for the 6 boys. A great place to visit Mallaig, Oban, Ben Nevis, Inverness, Skye. We'd definitely recommend.

I stayed her with husband and two boys aged 5 and 7 and the dog for Christmas. The lodge was very clean and well equipped, if you need anything the owners house is a stones throw away to ask, they are more than happy to help. We loved out stay. Would defiantly go again. Clear day you can see Ben...

We - a party of four - stayed at McClean House from 25th May 2013 for one week. McClean House and Campbell House form two halves of a large and imposing property. Inside, we liked the stylish, generously proportioned bathroom and shower room, and the open plan kitchen/dining area/lounge. The furnishings were contemporary, attractive and comfortable throughout. Bedrooms offered plenty...

The lodge was perfect, very comfy, homely, practical and with a feeling of luxury. ideal for a family of four, we have two young children who loved it here. The view from the main living room of the Nevis range was stunning, with Nevis itself peeking out over the trees on the slopes of Glen Loy. The River Loy was...

In the September of 2012 my family and I went for a quick get away to Fort William. The inspirational views from the window took us up Beinn Bhan on our first day, despite the overwhelming temptation to remain in the warm lodge all day! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the thrill of deer stalking. The lodge was the ideal location...

My family and I spent a wonderful biking weekend in this beautiful area, Glenloy. The kids enjoyed the wildlife and outdoor activities whilst we also enjoyed the relaxing sceneries from the chalet. We rented a boat from the Inverskilavulin estate to go on a nearby loch where we luckily had some good weather to enjoy! The chalet was lovely and...

We stayed at Inverskilavulin from the 21st of the 28th of July. What a great experience we had. The owners and caretaker still understand the true meaning of hospitality. The house was immaculately clean and soo welcoming. It was a real pleasure coming back “home” after a full day out. The environment offers stunning views and really allows you to...

We stayed in Beinn Loy last year (September 2011) but I never got round to doing a review which is a shame as it was a really great short break for us. The estate is lovely and the lodge we stayed in was beautiful, well looked after and very spacious (there were only two of us though). It had beautiful...

In May 2012 we stayed in the Beinn Bhan Lodge. It is an amazing place to be, with excellent view on the Ben Nevis. The logde is well equiped, good beds with quality sheets and towels. “It is best to pick up some basic supplies in Fort William before you arrive, especially if you have travelled a long distance, as no welcome pack is provided, this isn't a problem as long as you are aware and you'll be ready for a cuppa when you get there.”

“Both lodges look ideal, but Beinn Loy probably has the better view and is a little further from the burn that runs past, making it safer if you have younger kids/toddlers.”
