Glengyle is a very well-appointed bed and breakfast in an ideal location in Fort William. Our room was spacious and scrupulously clean. The current owners are in the process of selling up and I feel that came across during our visit. Everything was well organised....but we felt that this was for the benefit of the owners rather than the guests....

Stayed here for the climb up Ben Nevis... Cmd route.. It's just 2 miles from the north face car park.. This is the best car park to start the cmd route as its right at the start of the walk.. The room had Sky TV.. Kettle, toilet & shower.. It was perfect for us 3 lads! Breakfast served at 8-8:15...

We stayed in the cottage behind the main house for just 1 night. Very comfortable accommodation, well equipped. Hosts Rob and Mildred were very friendly and helpful. On same road as Glen Nevis, and a good family restaurant half a mile or so away.

We stayed for a night here with our 4 year old daughter - The rooms were clean and the host was very friendly and helpful. Since we checked in late, he also kindly guided us to some restaurants that could be open late. The location of this place is excellent and the surroundings were very beautiful! The breakfast menu was...

Our stay was very nice and friendly. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Our room was cosy and tidy and had everything we needed. The breakfast offered a good base for the rest of the day. :-) We can also recommend the hiking trails around cow hill that are nearby at Glen Nevis which are good for a moderate hike.

The best of Scotland! We enjoyed everything about out visit in June to Glengyle House. The very high quality accommodation and food, and the friendliness of Robert and Mildred made for an outstanding experience. The location is also excellent. The house is walking distance from beautiful Glen Nevis and from close-by and good-value Brown's, which is a really good restaurant....

This guest house is beautifully and lovingly maintained. The attention to detail is evident and we later learned that the owner is a carpenter and he built the house himself. Our room was clean with plenty of room and a nice sized shower. The owners were very nice and provided great recommendations for dinner and even tried to make a...

The owners of this beautiful B&B were so great to talk to and get to know. They were the nicest hosts we had met so far on our trip around Scotland. This is an excellent B&B. We received a warm welcome on a Saturday evening after a day on Ben Nevis and were shown up to room 3 by Robert. The room was large, spacious and well furnished. It had a quality bed and bedding, just the thing after a day on The Ben. There was also large bathroom with a...
