Fort William seems to have a lack of modern places to stay, but this place seems fairly new. When I booked this room I was slightly worried about the size of the rooms from previous posts. However, I found the room to be lovely and cosy. If you want a lot more floor space book one of the rooms with the additional sofa bed. We had a double room and there was ample room for us to have two large suitcases open on the floor. The bathroom was small, but perfect and spotless. Toiletries were amazing (The Highland Soap Company), and I even ended up buying the products from the shop in Fort William High Street. Amenities supplied in room included bathrobes, still and sparkling water, drumstick lollies, popping candy, Irn Bru and Tunnocks Tea Cakes. There is a wonderful free coffee machine in the reception/bar area which makes lattes, cappuccinos and hot chocolate. Bed was very comfy. Hotel is very convenient to end of the West Highland Way and lots of places to eat/drink. The breakfast was lovely too. I only got home yesterday but I have already recommended this place to a friend. It’s definitely where I’ll stay next time I’m in Fort William.

We stayed with fiends for 2 nights to do some Ben Nevis walking. The hotel is great for this. Ideal position for walkers. The rooms are small but comfortable with great showers- although they are quite warm at night. The breakfast is good but a early morning take away option would be nice. Good service and a nice stay, would definitely stay again if in Fort William.

Dear Pinkfizz Thankyou for the review. Hope you enjoyed your walk up Ben Nevis, We will look at offering some early morning takeaway options for breakfast apart from just coffee as I know how important it is to start out early when climbing the Ben. Hopefully see you again in the future. Best Regards Wayne

It’s definitely a good choice for an overnight stay and the breakfast was fantastic. Difficult to find a hotel that ticks most of the boxes for a reasonable price but this one does

We stopped here and had a fantastic breakfast. Wayne was great and ensured we had freshly brewed coffee and pastries straight away. We were given a tour of the old police cells and have already booked our stay for August when we hike up Ben Nevis. Thank you to the Garrison team for been so accommodating.
