Had a great stay at this park, it's small and convenient base for travelling around, the toilets are a little dated but clean and showers were hot, staff on arrival were friendly and helpful what more would one actually want, another great recommendation from Wilson Tours who made sure our every need was catered to, thanks again Stevie & Elaine, where's next 👏

Having visited all three campsites within the boundaries of Inverness this has to be the most disappointing I will try and be balanced (not easy) as all is not bad but that is purely the location which is fantastic and is what almost certainly saves the sight. The toilets look like something from the 70’s including the Avocado sinks. The restricted access to toilet blocks in the name of COVID is unmatched from the 20+ sites I have visited this year. Add to this the 15% VAT reduction for leisure business has certainly not been spent on site, most likely kept to keep profits up. Add to this the noise from the forgotten long term roadworks outside and Travelodge next door ... (well used for after 6pm toilets !) Time the owners stayed on their own site and then at the 21st century facilities at Ardtower, Inverness or Oakwood, Aviemore, maybe then this site can be developed into a site that could so easily be the best in area with its location.

Shower and toilets closed 6pm until 8am. Why? “COVID 19”. Yes, of course because....erm....the virus is more active at night isn’t it? When the facilities do open, they are a major disappointment. All toilet cubicles bar one are taped off, meaning one toilet for all the men on the site. How, exactly, is that hygienic and COVID-secure? The standard of cleanliness did not reflect the 14 hours they had given themselves to clean them. Making toilet and shower blocks covid secure consists of more than just going mad with yellow tape and closing half of them off - you need to actually make an effort. Reception is supposedly open until 8pm but we arrived at 7pm to find it closed, so never got the Wi-fi code or map of the site. We stayed at 8 sites during our tour of the Highlands and Western Isles and except for this one they were all lovely. This was easily the worst.

Visited this caravan site over the past couple of days and have to say it was a great location for us, we enjoy cycling and access to the towpaths alongside the Caledonian Canal is first class and the route is both easy and scenic. The caravan site itself though is pretty tired and could do with a bit of an upgrade especially the toilets. Now I know at the moment with the Covid crisis things are a little up in the air however that does not excuse what should be an extended cleaning regime. The toilet/shower area is small and cramped with cracked tiles and, to put it mildly, stained and smelly shower curtains. The pitches are a decent size however only 10amp power at each. As I say great location but in need of some TLC.

What a little gem of a campsite. Right next to the canal. Good cycle path. The botanical gardens on the other side of the canal is worth a visit. Close to the town centre. Camp site really clean. Staff very friendly and good COVID precaution. Would stay here again
